A24 has officially released the first trailer for Onslaught, the upcoming action horror film from director Adam Wingard, best known for The Guest, You’re Next, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. The film marks a return to Wingard’s genre roots, blending relentless action with horror in what has been described as a wild and violent thrill ride.
Starring Adria Arjona, Dan Stevens, Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn, Rebecca Hall, and Drew Starkey, the film follows a mother living in a trailer park who must protect her loved ones after a dangerous threat escapes from a secret military facility. As mercenaries move in to contain the situation, chaos erupts.
Early reactions to the trailer suggest Onslaught delivers exactly what its title promises, featuring explosive action, brutal violence, and intense hand-to-hand combat. The footage has already drawn comparisons to Wingard’s cult favorite The Guest, but on a much larger scale.
Onslaught is currently scheduled to hit theaters on September 4, 2026, from A24.
