White House Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing Peter Navarro went on Newsmax Tuesday night and ripped the mask off Fox News.

On Tuesday night, Navarro sat down with Greg Kelly on Newsmax and answered the charge that has been thrown at him all week: that he dragged Bartiromo’s name through the mud and got her thrown off the air. His answer was blunt.

“Absolutely not,” Navarro said. “The text was sent to me. It was my duty to forward on. And Maria Bartiromo was aghast at what the network was doing.”

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Bartiromo vanished from her three Fox platforms after more than 12 years. The network issued a cold two-sentence send-off on September 3 and stripped her name off Mornings with Maria, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, and Sunday Morning Futures.

President Trump immediately went on Truth Social and called her “a total professional, and a true warrior.”

Bartiromo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, has disputed reports that she was fired or is no longer employed by Fox. Freedman said those reports were “absolutely and unequivocally false” and claimed Bartiromo’s legal team possesses evidence and witnesses supporting its position.

Fox responded by standing behind its original announcement, saying the release “speaks for itself,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, journalist John Solomon said Bartiromo remains under contract and is expected to receive compensation through 2029 under a “pay-or-play” provision, despite being removed from the air.

The Gateway Pundit also previously reported that Bartiromo’s departure followed Fox’s alleged rejection of her proposed election-integrity segment.

Bartiromo was dumped for sharing internal Fox guidance with the White House after President Trump’s July 16 primetime address on Chinese Communist Party capabilities to interfere in U.S. elections, including alleged access to more than 200 million voter files.

Navarro now confirms the core of that sequence. He says Bartiromo booked him for the next morning, Fox killed the coverage, and she forwarded him the producer text that made the kill official.

The message, which Navarro published in a Washington Times column and on his Substack, came from Fox Business programming chief Ralph Giordano:

“Hi – We don’t want to promote it or push to the speech at all. We don’t want to do 2020 election segments at all Thurs or Friday.”

Navarro’s position is simple: a sitting president delivered a rare Oval Office address about a hostile communist power targeting the American vote, and Fox’s “mothership” did not want the follow-up.

“Greg, this is like unbelievable,” Navarro said. “You got a primetime address by the president of the United States. Those are very rare. And it’s about the Chinese Communist Party basically hacking into more than 200 million voter files and doing other things to interfere in our election. … And Suzanne Scott over at the mothership at Fox didn’t want to have anything to do with that.”

Then he went after the brand.

“The bigger story here, Greg, is forget about anybody thinking that Fox is a conservative network that’s friendly to MAGA, that’s friendly to Trump. Suzanne Scott is the enforcer. They’ll feed you some red meat over there. You know, the easy stuff, you know, the trans stuff, stuff like that. But when it comes down to MAGA things, Suzanne Scott gets rid of everybody over there who wants to talk about MAGA issues.”

He named the bodies.

Lou Dobbs — highest-rated show on Fox Business — gone.
Tucker Carlson — highest-rated show on Fox News — gone.
Maria Bartiromo — now gone.

“You fire people like Tucker Carlson, Lou Dobbs, now Maria Bartiromo. That throws fear into all these other anchors and keep them in line. It’s like, don’t talk about kind of Trump stuff.”

Kelly asked the question every MAGA viewer has been asking since Thursday: who did Navarro show the text to?

Navarro would not name names.

“I’m not going to get into the details. Remember, I went to prison, Greg, for not violating executive privilege. But suffice it to say that Suzanne Scott got a call and basically the White House let her know that that kind of thing is totally unacceptable. She didn’t accept that at all. She just went out and fired Maria Bartiromo. And that place is out of control.”

He then put a name on the producer-level machine: Ralph Giordano, whom he called Scott’s “tip of her spear, censorship spear.”

“What the producers are told by Suzanne Scott, who’s the CEO at Fox, is, when you craft your segments … you don’t do these MAGA issues. You don’t do pro-Trump stuff.”

That is the argument Navarro put in print hours earlier. In the Washington Times, he wrote that Scott’s business model is to feed viewers “conservative red meat” — Democrat socialists, men in women’s sports, illegal alien crime — while walling off the issues that actually scare Fox’s biggest advertisers: election integrity, Big Pharma, and Trump tariffs that hit the companies shipping American jobs to China.

Kelly floated the Murdoch-versus-Trump theory. Navarro did not bite.

“I don’t know, but I know I think Rupert and the boss get along. Well, it’s about the advertisers. … Don’t offend basically Big Pharma. Don’t offend the multinational corporations that ship over all of the jobs to China. You can’t do that. So you got to try to keep the audience happy, but you don’t offend the advertisers. That’s the buzzsaw that Dobbs and Carlson ran into.”

Has he spoken to Bartiromo since the split?

“Yes. … She’s not happy. … She’s not being treated fairly.”

Kelly asked Navarro if a private company can even commit “censorship”?

Navarro did not hesitate.

“When your brand is fair and balanced and you’re supposed to report primetime news, president in the Oval Office, national address, you bet your ass it’s censorship and it’s retaliation on Maria Bartiromo, full stop.”
