Choice and The Self
The choices people on the Earth plane make, determine the outcome of situations. It is said that everything is perfect on the Earth plane, there are no accidents. In a way this is untrue, for it is the choices people make that determine the outcomes of those situations. Let us look at a situation: before you are born, you choose to forgive your brother, who in a past life was your father, for the way he treated you in that past life. When you come to the Earth plane and it is time to forgive, the soul memory of anger, frustration and other emotions comes to the surface and you find it is so difficult to forgive. So difficult, that he is NOT forgiven, and the feelings of anger, etc. persist. Nothing is changed. It will take another round of incarnation, to hopefully, clear the energy! Souls go through many incarnations trying to clear emotional energy, usually having to ask for a Master’s assistance to finally achieve their goal! What happens if peace is not restored and the emotion lingers? The Universe will find a way to deal with the issue, but this can take Earth time, even many Earth years. It is not always easy.
The Divine Spirit gave you choice; without choice you would be a robot. However, the choices you make can be based on fear, anger, and conflict. For on the Earth plane, the Self reigns 90% of the time! The Self is all about the negative, it has no understanding of compassion, forgiveness, or love. It is all about revenge, and Self gratification. Nothing is pre-chosen as such, because until you come to the Earth plane, you can have no idea of what the Self part of you will do. The Higher Self will always forgive, and do what is required to create peace, but unless you have worked very hard to annihilate the Self, it is the Self that makes your decisions on the Earth plane! Nothing can be perfect while the Self rules!
