Amber Mozo Says Harry Jowsey “Gaslit, Manipulated And Emotionally Abused” Her During the Marriage He Built on a Netflix Dating Show

Amber Mozo married Harry Jowsey in the finale of Netflix’s Let’s Marry Harry. Two months later he’d ghosted her, and she says she later learned he’d flown out another contestant while the two of them were still together. She says she only pieced together the full story at the show’s reunion, which streamed August 26.

Amber is a 31-year-old travel photographer from Hawaii. Jowsey is the 29-year-old Australian reality star who picked her from 20 women on Let’s Marry Harry, the Netflix series where he set out to choose a wife. Their wedding aired in the finale on August 12.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and Australia before things fell apart. Amber says Harry spent time with a female influencer on the trip and didn’t prioritize her, which he blamed on needing to keep the relationship secret for the show. They agreed to cool down for a few days, then Harry said he wanted to move in together in February. They split before that happened.

Harry has framed the breakup as a miscommunication and said the two just didn’t see “eye to eye.” Amber rejects that. “He can have his story all he wants,” she told PEOPLE. “He didn’t say anything groundbreaking at the reunion or close it up nicely or say, ‘I’m sorry.’ He was just very dismissive.”

The reunion was the first time she’d seen him since January. Days before it filmed, she learned he’d reconnected with Dannelle Davidson, the runner-up he’d passed over for Amber. On stage, Dannelle said Harry reached out to her in January to say he was no longer with Amber and flew her to Los Angeles. Amber says they were still together at that point.

“To find out that you are completely disposed of, which is what being ghosted is,” she said. “On the show, he had talked about how he doesn’t want to promise the girl the world and then take it all away when he quite literally did that to me.”

She says she doesn’t regret marrying him or going on the show. “I don’t want to take this experience and let it harden me,” she said. “I still wanna find my right person.”
