Mark Probert and ‘Yada’ Explain How to Become More Fully Conscious During Earth Life

Grok 4 provided colorful new portraits of trance channeler Mark Probert and the ‘channeled entity’ known as ‘Yada di Shi’ite,’ whom have been a subject of many previous articles at this blog. The

Previous blog articles about Mark Probert and the scientists who studied his psychic abilities include evidence that the mainstream news media and even national government officials bureaucratically suppressed the data being shared by Borderland Scientists Research Associates without realizing how this would impact the future lives of themselves and all people throughout the world. A prominent member of ‘The Inner Circle’ is ‘E Yada di Shi’ite.’ This is one of the many transcripts made available by an association in Santa Cruz, California called Teachers of Light. A sentence from this transcript, “Life Is In Your Hands” is the title that has been assigned to this timely lecture transcript of the Mark
Probert (1907-1969) channeling case chronology.

A tape recording identification notation is made at the beginning of the oration by an unidentified BSRA associate:

Today is August the 10th, 1968. We are attending a deep trance lecture through Mark Probert. The teacher speaking through Mark will be ‘Yada di Shi’ite.’

Mark Probert:

I seriously object to the word ‘trance medium’ and because of this I am writing a book called Medium Rare. It is not about mediums but my own experience as far as I can remember. There is no way that I know of, of proving to anyone else what you get psychically. You can have the most vivid experience, vivid to you, but the moment you start putting it into words to others, who have had no such experience, they just don’t understand you. If I laugh about it, don’t be surprised. They may call me “cuckoo,” that is all right. You just take that in stride.

You know what you are. You know what you are experiencing, so what do you care what somebody else thinks about you. It is your life — not theirs. There is one thing we have to do. We have to live with ourselves.

I got started in this work in my sleep. I started talking in foreign tongues in my sleep. About a month after that, my wife and I were married and she broke the news to me that I was talking in my sleep. So I asked her what I was talking about, hoping it to be good. But she said: “I don’t know because you speak in a foreign tongue.” Well . . . that was good. All husbands should speak in a foreign tongue.

We went to a neurologist. We did not know where else to go. So my wife told this man about my talking in a foreign tongue in my sleep. And he got perturbed about it and did not act like a neurologist at all. He jumped up and shook his fingers under my wife’s nose and said: “You just imagined that.” And my wife jumped up in her Irish way and said: “You just imagined that we have been here — because we are not going to pay you.” And we walked out.

But you know, when you are not familiar with these sort of things and you go to someone, who you think should be an authority on these things and have [that person] treat you in a childish manner, this makes you disturbed because you do not know what else to do. And you do not know where else to go. And very often — people become psychically sensitive or rather suddenly — they get worried because they think they are going crazy. It has been taught that you are crazy when you hear voices. And everybody knows that when you reach forty, that you at least [have] had noises. But I think that if anyone here ever gets that way and starts suddenly having psychic experiences, not to become frightened about it and try to learn all that one can do. And don’t accept everything these voices say.

Many times we hear voices but they are not voices of spirit beings, rather our own worried ‘voices,’ anxieties, voices that take place within us when we become disturbed about something that is happening in our daily life. And these voices actually sound like voices, but they come from our own subconscious self. You have to be able to determine what kind of voice is it — the voice of a spirit being or your own.

I had a young fellow tell me — and he did not look sick to me — that God talked to him. Well — if that is his experience I have no way of denying that. But [Self-identified] ‘God’ didn’t talk to me, so I don’t know. I do not understand it. But there are more people who do not understand what I am doing either. Now these beings that talk through me, which came all about as I said in my sleep and I met a man named Meade Layne. His academic background was quite broad. He was a teacher at different universities. He was 65 when I met him and he told me that he was a student of metaphysics for some 40 years. I spent two hours with him and he asked me about my health and my sicknesses. Then he said to me that I might be a trance medium and not know it. He said: “When you go to sleep, for a time you may sleep deeply, then you have a raise in consciousness and it is on this level of consciousness that these beings exist, which we sometimes called ‘the astral’ [plane]. You are open to them and thus they can use you.”

But when we had our first session together, he made the room all dark. I asked him why he did that and he said, we might have some physical phenomena and this can take place in the dark. So here I am sitting at a card table just like I am sitting now, and he said: “Relax, if there are spirit beings who want to come through” me “they will do it. They will put you into a trance state.” Actually, I did not know what a trance state was. I hardly know what a sleep state is because it is difficult for me to go to sleep.

All of a sudden I had a feeling that I was going to fall off my chair. I experienced a complete lack of equilibrium. This lasted for about a second and this was the worst dizzy spell I ever had. I never had it again or anything like it. After a while I had a feeling that I can only express as elation — tremendous elation. And suddenly I went into that coma, that trance state, sleep state or whatever you might call it. When I came out of it, it was 45 minutes later and he said that an American had spoken through me. He called himself Martin Lingford. He had been a showman for 40 years before, and he was mostly coming to open the session with fifteen other beings. These fifteen other beings call themselves ‘The Inner Circle.’

Now through the years they have all spoken through me. Some of them I have not heard of in years. I wish I could say something that could be intelligent about this sort of thing. I was in it for twenty years. You think I might have something intelligent to say. But I don’t know what is intelligent. I know when the trance state comes upon me — it is tremendous. My face goes through some changes and my respiration changes. I hear it [channeled speech] in the beginning for a few seconds, and then I don’t hear anything. Everything is just nothing. I may stay in it as long as 45 minutes; sometimes I have been in it for two hours.

When I came out of it I feel perfectly rested, like I had a good sleep, the most resting sleep. You think that because I can go into this state, that I should be able to go to bed and rest easy. You think that I make a good subject for hypnosis, but I am not. I had a number of people try to hypnotize me with no success. This shows I am not very bright.

When you question things, this work often worries me because I do not know how much harm I am committing or how much good. How can I know? Because each of us take what we hear and see in a different way. Some people get very resentful of some of the things my teachers say. One lady in New York — my teacher Yada was speaking. He calls himself Yada di Shi’ite, which simply means ‘spirit life’ of a tribe called the Shi’ites. This lady asked him about Jesus Christ. Well, that got the ball kicked off, as it always does. And this woman — my wife said — jumped up and said: “Nuts!” She had a big pitcher hat with a lot of fruit on it and while she shouted all the fruit came tumbling all over the place. Then she walked up the aisle — turned around again and shouted: “Nuts!”

When people have this kind of attitude, it is better to let them have their money back and go on their way. It is hard to charge for this sort of thing because it really has no price on it. The price we charge, it is simply to keep us alive so we can go on with this work. I am really not a good talker.

You are doing fine and I enjoy sitting next to you.

Mark Probert:

Thank you. My wife sat next to me for twenty years. She went everywhere with me. Two and a half years ago she passed away. I had contact with her five and a half hours after she passed over, after she died in the hospital. Now surely nobody can fake that. She meant so much to me.

She tried to tell me of the condition she was existing in. But like everyone else who tried to do this, they fall down, they fall short. They try to use words that we can understand and end up telling us this world, not that world. At least, I don’t think it is — by this I mean to say there are mountains and trees and houses and clubs and churches, they are talking about here. Now I think and it may be that way [after all]. I don’t know. I have not been there.

Did you ever have a projection and it suddenly comes to them that the human consciousness exists and operates very well outside of its physical structure? There is no use in arguing with anyone. How about a dream? Don’t we have space and what seems like time in a dream? Don’t we have cars and trees and houses, all kind of things? And the more you can dream consciously, the more real your dream is. It is when we dream unconsciously that the dream is vague and scattered and rather unreliable. And if you could awaken in your dream and realize that you are dreaming, then you can become a master of your dream and cause this dream to be what you want it to be. As long as we dream unconsciously, we cannot.

Most of us humans go most of our lives — some of us all of our lives, without ever being conscious. We have a little external consciousness that keeps us going here, but that is not being conscious. We have — what we call sensory consciousness, but we can’t reach out beyond the senses. So we say — this is reality. But we fog it up because we do not know the truth.

Now I am getting a feeling . . . [Mark is going into a trance]

Yada:

Sena et Senaha, ena Yada di Shi’ite. Thank you for letting us come into your group tonight. E gratia. If we could only talk one another’s language, how much better could we get along. Even when we are speaking the tongue, we are not speaking the language, so we get all confused and angry with one another. And it is always you that makes me angry. You just don’t seem to understand! This means also that I am going to heaven and I know where you are going!

My honorable friends, when I come to say “I am Yada di Shi’ite” it is a title. My given name was Ghana Shena Hati. I think I am going back to Yada.

This world in which you live is a most wonderful world. Why do you not appreciate it? When you have to leave it, I think you will have some appreciation at the last moment: ‘Oh no, I don’t want to go yet, please. Just a little longer?’ Why not? You don’t appreciate it, leave it, and forget it where it is a little purer. Do you like purity? Do you like holiness? You have a song in your world, which says ‘Stop the world, I want to get off.’ The world is no better and no worse than any other world in which you find yourself. No better and no worse. For it is an individual experience. You did it. So you must have responsibility for it. Without responsibility, we humans are no better than animals. Humans can think and reason. This makes us different from the animal — I mean the four-footed ones.

People say to me: “Who are you, Yada?” And I say: “You said it. Yada.” And I say to you: Who are you? So what do you say to me in return? Same thing. ‘My name is so and so.’ So do you think that is you? That is no more you than Yada is me. These are titles put upon an unknown quantity. Today you have a way of saving food and you put them into a can with labels to tell what is inside. You cannot do that with a human being. For how [do] you know what’s inside? All you can see is the surface, the mask.

So you have faith in one another but you don’t know. But when you get to know yourself, find yourself, we can, to that degree, understand others. And it is in such understanding we live better with one another, more at peace. With all the advancement of your modern civilization in all directions—great understanding—so little understanding in yourself. There is so little real knowledge regarding the human makeup. And I can understand why this is, because the human is interchangeable. There is no such thing as a personality.

The personality is a composite of experiences and attitudes towards these experiences.

One moment I feel different about something as I did a moment before. And this may be for many reasons, meaning one: chemical changes taking place in the body affecting the nervous system and the sensory system. An aroma, a color, a sound may suddenly change our whole character, may start us off on an entire different path than before. How amazing! How complex is the human makeup. Some of your psychologists and psychiatrists say that sickness is due to confusion in the human makeup, meaning mental.

But what about mental confusion. Is this something in itself? Is it a purely mental attitude or is it a combination of mental and physical? An experience can cause a chemical change in the body, may effect one or all of the glandular systems, creating sickness in different parts of the body. Fright, for instance, throws too much adrenaline into the system.

Many people have been completely cured from a deadly disease from laying on of hands. A concentrated thought on the part of the healer — what you have in Christian Science. Many people sneer at Christian Science but it is only one path, a path to understanding a little better than before. Does it work? Does it matter what you call it as long as it works. ‘He put his hands on her hands on him and I was healed.’ The listener goes: ‘Ha, ha, don’t be silly, that is impossible.’ The doctorman says that. The medical doctor. ‘How can that be? It takes drugs to heal you.’ But the person is healed. Did the healer heal or did the sick person heal himself — using the healing for the center of his beliefs, for his acceptance?

The healer did not believe in the sick person’s sickness. He had no place in his consciousness with this type of sickness for it enabled him to put down the picture of anxiety in the mind of the one who was sick, to heal him. Make clear, take away anxiety and fear. And we can do this for one another. Take away anxiety by suggestions. The hypnotist can do it. Are we not all hypnotists? In one way or another. Any time you say something — [make] a suggestion to another, you are a hypnotist. And if they accept your suggestions, you can consider yourself a great hypnotist. But there are some people who keep themselves pretty much covered up. They do not like to be talked into. They feel secretive. Again, we all have a part of ourselves we keep secret, even to ones we deeply love.

To die! Sounds creepy. Dying! Ugh, don’t want to do that. Yet there are many people who desire death more than they desire living. And when they get the opportunity, they take it to put themselves out of this world. And there are many people saying: That is evil. You cannot do that. You cannot take what you did not give. Who gives it to him? Who gives life to you but you? Life is yours. You are the creator. I say this with knowing, not simply believing. But I know! And sometime you will come to know. And then you will be free.

You will be your own agent consciously. This is what man is working towards, becoming creator conscious, self-aware.

Does this sound like too much? To some people, I know it does. They do not yet understand, so they think. And it would be too much to bear, that they are the creator. They are!

So what is to be done with people like this? Nothing! Leave them alone. They will find their way just as you did. For those of you that found their own way, did someone twist your arm? Modern expression. I like it. I like another, as it is said that life is a do-it-yourself job. I like that. Because it is true.

Life is a do-it-yourself job. If you neglect to do it — it remains undone!

Yes, responsibility. Love yourself and you will be able to take on responsibility. You will see the value in it. After this life, what? This is not a very good expression — after that. Because ‘after’ that there is no life. It is life after life — not after death. It is continuous, unbroken, never beginning and never ending. What has no beginning, how can it have an end?

Consciousness — it is a static thing, if you like it, for it is forever or—if you like—never. Which is the longest — never or forever? What do you like best? That’s what it is.

I had my first Earth experience 500,000 years ago in the Himalayan Mountains. I was a priest of temples in a civilization called Yuga — meaning ‘vast body.’ There were 180 million human beings. Not monkeys. You see, man did not come from monkey, but that happened only recently. It is known as monkey business.

But in truth man has always been man. One time he was less talkative than later, but he was still man. But it was not until he became aware of the humanness of himself, that he saw the difference, comparing himself with other animals. We cannot become that, which we are not. As he began to become aware of himself as a human, he began to act as a human. And that is a special sort of human. It is an advancement of the mind. It’s an awareness that we did not acquire, we would never have lost it on Earth. For it took human kind of thinking and reasoning to make the world what it is today. Or any other day.

In earlier times the human scratched his head only because it itched, rather than the desire to think. Today you do your own thinking. It is a reflex from your monkey days. Today you are scratching the bugs of anxiety, of fear, of guilt, of shame and uncertainty in every way. And I know those bugs can bite you just as sharply and as deeply than the physical bugs.

As I said earlier, I was a priest of the temples. First I was a Kata, meaning god-man. When I completed my initiation I became a Yada meaning Ya-Spirit Da-Life — light, the Sun — E Da — the light out of which all has come . All forms, all shapes, all thoughts, all feelings, is born of the light. And, you know, regardless of our hypnotic way of living that causes all manner of things we would expect only from an animal—four-footed—to do, but many four-footed animals would not do such things. It is not that they would not. They could not because they cannot think about it. Animals can only do what they are driven to do, by desire, without reasoning. Man is supposed to reason.

Going back to my civilization, which lasted for 1,024 years, my city was Kaoti, meaning ‘City of Temples.’ There were 33 temples in my city alone. And I noticed that you are filled up with temples in your highly evolved state with science and philosophy. You have more temples than there was in our whole civilization. Think of that! Everybody bottoms up! What I cannot kiss I try to kill. I want to destroy. It frightens me. That’s very strange because you do not think about your God or you would not want to kill Him (male). But you see, God is not a sex; there is nothing at all human about Him. That ‘Him God’ is a creation of the Hebrew people. Moses brought this ‘Him God’ to the people of his time, to bring fear into them of the hope of stopping them from slaughtering one another. They lived more like pigs than pigs lived. It sounds like I am talking about today, doesn’t it? You will not be safe coming in or going out. It needs no great sensitivity to be able to predict that. It is obvious. And I always predict what is obvious. It is easier on my critics.

I am going to stop talking about myself and you talk about yourself, if you want to. What do you have on your mind? What are you looking for? What do you want? You know that this is a very important question, which we humans should be taught to ask ourselves periodically. What do you want?

Have you ever thought what you Americans call ‘hung up’? Isn’t that a nice expression: hung up? It gives a good picture. Hung up! Or had you ever had a scratch you could not itch? Or a taste for something and you did not know for what? That is all hell. That’s what hell is.

Many young people, healthy people, commit suicide because they do not know what they want. They do not know what is expected of them. And they become more anxious of what others think and expect of them than they do. And they all fall short. And there is the trap that brings them to their death. A hunger! A gnawing hunger. Not in the stomach but in this stomach called ‘the mind.’ Deep in the emotional self. There is a great desire to get that lump out of the center of our being. We cannot swallow it nor can we regurgitate it. Your world and society understands that today. That’s why there are so many doctors, both medical and mental.

The great sickness in the human mind is a hunger to know — from whence they came and to where they are going. Especially in our daily life hangs on this. What purpose? Where is the intelligent design? What am I to do? Emptiness, everywhere. Tastelessness. Somebody, oh, somebody save me.

Man’s great desire to be saved. From what? From himself? From himself! From his ignorant self. From his blind self. From his not knowing self. Give me direction. Where is my home? I walk in a vacuum. I hear it all in your civilized world.

I come — if I may say so — with the hope of bringing some direction. For I know that It alone exists, the one and only Exister. I Am That. I Am the Reality. I came to Earth only once. Reincarnation! Do you believe it? And what difference does it make if you do or don’t. Because if it is a law you will follow it anyway. But how in is it? We know many things but we do not know the mechanics of it. We do not know the inner workings, the occult. So all we can say is: I believe this or that, which means we do not know.

I call upon the Eternal One to give me more understanding, give me light which will expel the darkness of my ignorance.

And if you — in your prayer — ask for that, practice it — putting your mind upon it — the truth will come to you. The darkness will be put aside so the Light can recognize it. Says so in your Christian Bible. The Lord said let there be light and the light dispelled the darkness because the darkness could not recognize the light. That’s what happens when you come to know. The ignorance vanishes.

I wish to communicate with my maker. He is not up there. He is not a ‘he’ anyway. The Great It, right here. Do you really want to know? Then sit silently periodically and don’t try to make tricks with your mind, like blanking it. Because most of us have a blank mind already. This was [said by myself] with no desire to insult. It was said with fact.

How can truth be hurtful? Only our vanity or ignorance can hurt and that is a schizophrenic act anyway. You see, that reincarnation is a concoction of your mind, of the Creator’s mind. Not a factual activity, except by the individual’s acceptance of the law. The law is the person. ‘I must come back. I feel guilty. I feel ashamed. I must undo which I did wrong. Cassida!’ Cassida is a mild oath in my language.

But what do I mean when I say that reincarnation is not factual, but a concoction of you’re the Creator’s mind towards His creation? So let us look, please, for a moment.

Let us suppose you find yourself suddenly in a room 30 by 30 feet or whatever in size. And you did not know how you got there, you had no knowledge of what to do while you are there, you have no idea of where you are going from there, if any place. But you can’t just sit and do nothing. So you start building walls and partitions, making them larger on one side, smaller on the other. Just imagine how wonderful the mind is in creating things for Themselves.

First it creates partitions. It feels the need for them. Then it looks at each of these—behind each one; before each one—which make what you call ‘rooms.’ Something is missing. It is called ‘names.’ I must name each one of these rooms. Will it stop there? No, it has to get a kind of furnishing for each room. You cannot put a bed into a kitchen, that is foolish. Although many try that. How interesting.

And after he gets all the furnishings in the right rooms, he starts walking from one room to another. He leaves the living room and comes to the kitchen or the bedchamber, or whatever. It loses consciousness of — let us say — kitchen or bedchamber consciousness. Not satisfied of walking from room to room, he starts moving back again. That gives him the sensation of coming and going from someplace to someplace. A sense of change. But if you tear down all these walls, you will find yourself back in one room. You will find that you have been hallucinating yourself by thinking you have been coming and going from someplace to someplace. I’ve been coming and going. I will be reborn again. This time I will have kitchen consciousness. I will be known as a cook.

Now, when he said this—that he was going to reincarnate—many people who are metaphysicians lifted their eyebrows up: What for? What do you want to do that for? Are you not happy here? Are you crazy? Can’t you go to higher realms, higher and higher? From whom am I higher?

What’s the matter with the earth? Do you not like it? Do you think the next step from here will be better? Not one bit. You have to make it better here and take it with you. If you do not, you will take the worse with you and that will be your hell — hell of you. Wherever you are — make the best. Love it! And you will be at peace with the whole universe, with all creation. Where I am, is there the Eternal Light of me — Is. Think of that. Where I Am. Not where I am not. I am going to be happy where I am not?

If you have not peace of mind today, how can you have peace of mind tomorrow?

There is a difference between peace of mind and happiness. Happiness is what we get for what we get. It depends on things. But peace of mind depends only on peace of mind; attitude of the spirit, detachment from things.

Life is warmth. Not stoic of mind. Life is warmth — is heat, comfort — is not detached iciness, indifference. I would prefer pain to no pain for pain teaches me humbleness. It teaches me love and warmth. I know some people suffer physical pain almost all of their lives. To them there is no comfort in it and yet they give comfort to others, those who suffer — take suffering [away] from others; teach them how to live with it.

If we have no pain ever — we live the life of a stoic. We do not appreciate. Sympathy! What about empathy? ‘I love you’ — I wish to share your laughter and your pain and your tears. Let me cry with you if I can laugh with you. Don’t shut me out. I love you. Do you wish to say something to me?

Thank you for your wisdom, Yada. We are grateful for your words.

Yada:

I am going to thank all of you for being able to accept it; for letting me know it is wisdom. I am most appreciative that you have been able to recognize it as such. For what would I come to deaf ears? For if you could not recognize it in your way for what it is, I come in vain. But as you do, you give me great comfort, great peace of mind, great joy. It brightens my light. And this is what you should do with one another.

Remember that each and every one of us speaks on our level of understanding. We cannot do any different from that. And if you know better — not more, because wisdom and understanding does not come in measurements but quality. So if you know better, and someone else is talking and you recognize their understanding is not as full as yours, let them. And give them hints that is the way you know it to be. Just hints — never say to this: ‘This is the only way it is.’ Then they get frightened of you because they do not understand what you mean by that.

They are not ready for it. And we approach one another with our light, so that it is not glaring in other eyes. More — it will likely blind them than wake them up. And in their blindness they will turn and attack you, naturally. Do not wish you to say something to me?

We love you, Yada. Can you tell us something about etheric surgery?

Yada:

First of all I will tell you this, my friend, and I speak the truth. It is not a practice for the Western half of the world. It is a practice that belongs to a group of people who are not awake — yet. We call it the peasant mind. It works beautiful for them. What works? The psyche. They believe in it. But they believe in it in their own way. They feel it is through their Catholic God or perhaps their witch doctor. But whatever their belief, they get reality from it. The hand, what is it? It is an extension of the mind, yes? Will any of you deny that? So it is an extension of the psyche, for mind is psyche. Psyche is mind.

With breath and concentrated thought—which some call prayer—the psychic doctor goes through before he does an operation, he brings up the power, the psychic energy which flows through his hand. This is called materialization, as you surely know. Concentrated thought and breath brings that energy out of the cells, where it is called protoplasm. As ectoplasm, there is a difference in the nuclei structure of this energy. Now this can extend from the hand, and becomes as loose and limp as a big wheel. Or it can become as rigid as iron. ‘I believe it.’ And the belief is manifested in physical form for physical people.

With this energy — the karate expert brings his opponent to the knees, can bring him death — without touching him, by a word, a command.

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, was the Creator, is the Creator. The word, the magic word of love, in which we work, in service to our fellow beings. Man is basically a mental being. He is a spook walking around with his skin on.

Jesus never said: I, Jesus, am the way and the light. I, Christ Am The Way and the Light. Of course, in those times the word ‘Christ’ meant Messiah. But in the inner teachings — Christos — Krishna and Christos — in Latin, in Greek, in Indian, it’s all the same. ‘I am the way and the light.’ Indeed, you are. Indeed you are. Yada, I have a question regarding to a subject concerning Nicholas Tesla—who was an American scientist—with the discovery of electricity and some information little known about him, that he was supposed to come from Venus and he lived 87 years on Earth . . . I am just asking — one of the machines that he had designed was a anti-war machine, which the American people refused to accept. And there is supposed to be energy of light three miles offshore to protect America. This is through knowledge of books, not mine. I would like to know if this is true. Yada: I wish also to say that most of what you have heard in that direction and now stated is not true. I am not an idol smasher. I am not a hope destroyer but I am a hope giver. The man Nikola Tesla was a human being like anyone else but he was classified as a genius. Not only in electricity but in many other ways. This of course made him a man of mystery to those who have not this kind of mentality. Were it not for this man bringing alternative currents with Edison likewise, it would have not been very good for man. For without alternating currents you would cause fire. Too much heat generated in one time and one place.

This man, Edison, was getting all the credit. There was a man who said: “Let us take the cash and let the credit go.” Because you cannot take credit to the grave, nor can you take cash to the grave. Yet, when you know how, you can also take your body with you. But not as it is. You learn the art of mental concentration to absorb the energies out of which the body is made, bringing it back into the center. It is pure energy. If we do not know this, we let ourselves rot in the ground, dissipate itself of what is called nature. Isn’t nature wonderful?

Let us say, God created all these beautiful trees. We are awed by the beauty around us, so we cannot accept it as our own creation. Something bigger than me did it. How much bigger? Think of that. How much bigger? Like the scientist who goes out into space to find that the material world is made out of one big atom. How much bigger? And bigger than what? In relation to what?

To go back to your question. Man is never saved from his destiny. That’s his destiny. he has to work it out. Nobody can stop man from doing what he feels he must do. He cannot sop himself because he knows not of what to stop himself from. What is war? How does it start? By a few men in a few countries of the world? Of course not. If we — as individuals — did not have war within ourselves, if we did not fight with one another and within ourselves, war with anxiety, fear that destroys our own body, we could not have war with other bodies. Masses of man give themselves to war. But first they make excuses for mass killing, for the need of it: “That’s the enemy. And they want to destroy us, so we must destroy them first.”

And they say the same thing about you: “That’s the enemy. Go get him. He is evil. His teachings are evil. Russia is a godless country.” Listen to these words, please, it is a godless country. That is — it has become a godless country since the Czar and the Russian Orthodox Church has been taken out of there. In truth, it never had God in it with the Orthodox Church and the Czar. They were the element of destruction, of evil, of domination to the human beings of Russia. So out of that filth was brought Communism. Did you hear in this country making an effort of feeding [the] starving of million Russians when they were under the heel of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Czar? Did you protest both the enemy of man? There is more kindness and goodness in Russia today than when the Czar and the Orthodox Church controlled the people.

Now for this, some of you may classify me as a Communist. A communistic spook. In the spirit world there are political beliefs. Not only individual spooks have political beliefs. I have walked the astral world many times for the same reason I walk again your physical world. [It] is just to being better understanding to people. Not to make them holy but to keep them off their knees and get them into their head. Get fear out of their heart and out of their stomach.

Man is a wonderful being — wherever he is. But because the individual may become unaware of his truly divine nature and be hurtful to his fellow man, that does not mean he is lost. He is only ignorant for the time being. He will learn.

No, the light beam is not going to be used for that purpose. It is used for many helpful things for man. Going back into history. Every time an enlightened one makes a new invention, the ignorant, the sleeper rises up in one voice and says: “God did not intend man to do that . . .” The sleeper speaking of God! And for God! That is foolishness.

God intended man to do anything and everything he could do, and the more he did, the more God was on his side. It is only when we stop doing and go to our knees trembling that we may hurt God, if he acted human. But he was acting like an idiot.

My friends, I do not mock your beliefs because you have to live with them. You have to sleep with them, but they can become cold bed partners. They can give you an ache in your bones, the ache of fear. Think about that! It is appealing to you? Does it make for intelligence?

Many people believe that Venus is inhabited by flying saucer people and that they are tall and blond. I suppose it is perfect femininity to be blond to a brunette and vice versa. Always utopia is somewhere out here. I must go looking for it. If you do — go alone because if you take one or more with you it will kill utopia. Yes.

Love yourself and you can love all others and live in peace with all others.

There is coming more and more struggle between the white man and the black man. The name of the struggle is called prejudice — prejudice born out of ignorance. Now it is true that there is a difference between races. We are not all the same, any more than everybody is rich or poor. Everybody does not believe in Catholicism or Christian Science. We all have out differences. The dove and the hawk are different. Do you see them mating? That reminds me and I don’t know why, of the story of the hunter.

There was a hunter and he was very brave when his gun was loaded. So one day he met a lion and he pulled the trigger but the gun would not shoot. He tried again but the gun still would not shoot and by that time the lion came rushing down on him like a storm. But the hunter was a good Christian. He got down on his knees and started to pray. Through a crack of his fingers he saw the lion running up to him and then suddenly was kneeling down and folding his paws like in prayer. The man got a big thrill of joy and said to the lion: “You must be a good Christian.” The lion said: “I do not know about that.” So the hunter said: “What are you doing?” The lion answered: “I am saying grace.”

And this is what perhaps some of the flying saucer people are doing in coming here with the impression they are going to save you. They are saying grace. They may be gigantic spiders. How do you like that? My friends, they do not come to save you. They cannot. Nobody can. Nobody ever has been able to save you. From what? Tell me? From sin? What sin? Apparently that is the only fun you have.

Sin is making mistakes. Can you keep from it? Is there any way you can live and not make mistakes? All of your life on Earth is a series of mistakes and rubbing them out and trying again. That’s why you have rubbers on pencils. When making a mistake, you rub them out and try again.

There are no beings on Venus, nor on Mars, nor in your entire solar system that are like you. Your Earth in its position in your solar system is on the very edge of the Milky Way or galactic system. It is way out. That’s why it is becoming to be known in recent years as a way out world. And those are not idle words either.

On Mars there is almost a constant storm, windstorm, dust storm sweeping the planet. It is very cold. The amount of oxygen is very small and very low to the ground. A lung breather cannot go there without protection. Venus is very much like Los Angeles, gases and smog clinging to the ground. A few moments of breath on that planet and you die. And you can imagine what it would do to blond hair.

No, do not look up or to the side or to the back for security. Look not away from yourself.

I Am That. I Am all the peace, all the pain, all of everything. I Am It. Give me the strength; give me the strength to find the Light.
