Meghan Markle Is in Talks to Return to Acting with a Role in Guy Ritchie’s ‘the Gentlemen’ on Netflix

Meghan hasn’t taken a scripted role since she left “Suits” in 2018 to marry into the royal family. Now she’s being eyed for a part in Guy Ritchie’s crime drama, the show that’s built its whole reputation on London gangsters and dry British menace.

The part being discussed is in “The Gentlemen,” Guy Ritchie’s Netflix drama spun off from his 2019 film, according to PEOPLE. Season 2 premieres Sept. 3, and a source told the outlet a third season is expected to be announced soon.

It would be her first acting job since she wrapped seven seasons as Rachel Zane in 2018. The move lines up with the couple’s reported plan to leave California for the U.K. after six years, with Archie and Lilibet set to start school there in September.
