Megyn Kelly and Dr. Drew devoted a segment of Tuesday’s episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show” to picking apart how Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are raising their 13-year-old daughter, North — who already has a magazine cover, a rap album, and stage performances to her name.
North West is 13. She appears on the cover of Dazed with grills, blue hair, and facial piercings, and she’s releasing a rap album and performing onstage.
On the show, Kelly and Dr. Drew turned their criticism on North’s parents. Kelly argued that Kim and Kanye are “rushing” to make North a star without weighing the downside of fame for children.
Dr. Drew agreed. He pointed to bipolar disorder in North’s heritage, a reference to Kanye, and claimed, without evidence, that Kim and Kanye “have not been available” and “don’t look like they’re around all the time.”
He then compared putting North in the public arena so young to a “guillotine.”
