I founded Michele Knight Psychics in 2003 for a very simple reason: I was sick of seeing an industry I loved get ruined by bad practice.
Growing up with a wild Italian psychic mother, intuition was part of my everyday life. By my late teens, I was reading at psychic fairs, and in my early twenties, I had my own office in Covent Garden. In the 90s, I ended up being in a psychic TV series called Housebusters on Channel 5.
Working in the industry, I saw how some psychic practices were operating, and it was very disturbing. Many charlatans and cowboys took advantage of vulnerable people, frightening them into booking multiple long calls. I saw readers building emotional dependency, feeding people’s anxieties, and taking their money when what they really needed was a doctor or a counsellor.
I knew there had to be a better way. I set out to build a psychic reading service where the psychics were tested for accuracy and integrity, where ethics comes before profit, and every single client is treated with respect. Over twenty years later, that is still why we’re here.
