With the help of a few members of the Gardening Committee at Our Lady of the Assumption, Lucernemines (Mimi Yanoscsik and Peggy Lucas), third- and fourth-grade students planted 72 crocus bulbs at the base of the church’s Peace Pole.
The bulbs were provided through a grant by The Crocus Project, which is being sponsored by The Holocaust Center in Pittsburgh.
