Jamie Foxx has revealed that an early draft of “Django Unchained” contained material that the cast and director ultimately decided to leave out — a change he says was made in part to protect his co-star Kerry Washington.
According to Foxx, the original “Django Unchained” script had both Django and Kerry Washington’s character being raped.
He, Washington, and director Quentin Tarantino talked it through and cut the scene, worried it would follow her forever just as she was about to become Olivia Pope.
