Kaia Gerber says that even on her best days, she’s “not even close” to looking like her mom. She calls being compared to Cindy Crawford the largest compliment she can get.
“I wish I did. I think even on my best days, I’m not even close,” Kaia Gerber told Yahoo Entertainment when asked about the constant comparisons to her mother.

The 24-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford and Casamigos co-founder Rande Gerber said being told she resembles Crawford, 60, is an honor. “I think she’s just the most beautiful woman inside and out. And so if there’s any way that I remind anyone of her, it’s just, like, the largest compliment.”

The denial is funnier in context. Gerber has said she pulls up old photos of her mom to test hair and makeup, on the logic that if a look worked on Cindy, it’ll probably work on her.

She walked “The Shards” premiere in New York on July 27 in a floor-length Valentino column gown covered in beads and crystals, her glam built on Crawford’s ’90s formula: bronzed skin, a brown smoky eye, a glossy nude lip and a soft blowout.

There’s a full-circle wrinkle to the press run, too. Gerber stars in the Ryan Murphy FX series, adapted from Bret Easton Ellis’s novel, opposite Homer Gere, the 26-year-old son of Richard Gere, who was married to Crawford from 1991 to 1995. The two had never met before a cast hangout two weeks before filming.

Commenters weren’t buying the modesty. “She’s Cindy’s twin,” one wrote. Another offered, “She looks more like her mom than her mom looks like her mom.”
