Monthly Astrology Forecast for All Signs February 2026
ARIES
Today is the first day of the rest of my life,
I wake as a child to see the world begin.
On monarch wings and birthday wonderings,
want to put on faces.
John Denver. Today is the First Day of the Rest of My Life
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Or should I say February marks the first month of it? Dance, play, unfurl monarch wings, express yourself, muse, wonder and look at the world with the wide-eyed awe of a child again under the full Moon in Leo.
You are now choosing what version of you comes next. You may discard old identities you’ve had to adopt out of necessity or what I like to call maladapting to fit in, and allow yourself the pure unrestrained luxury of allowing yourself to experiment with who you want to be now. The full Moon trines Ceres in your 1st. This is a deal you make with yourself. There’s no rush, Aries. Choosing which version of you comes next only asks you reconnect to what hands you joy, clarity, pleasure and boosts your self-confidence. Radiance is the key word here. What allows you to be that? Feel that? Because if you embrace yours, it becomes self-sustaining.
Even as you prepare for a brand new cycle unlike any other, there’s a slow down happening. Mercury meets the North Node in Pisces and your 12th and on the very same day enters retroshadow. It will engage with the North Node three times during its retrocycle. Change who you believe yourself to be – you change your destiny. Which is why you can take your time. The process may be playful – but it will have the effect of changing more than simply the outer you. It rewrites your core programming for this lifetime. It begins with intuitive nudges which occur in sync with any outer changes. Pay close attention. This is closure on an old chapter.
Since 2020 we’ve all witnessed ‘Once in a lifetime’ transits occurring on more than one occasion. Feb 14-20 brings the most significant one for you yet. Because it takes place in your sign and at the key 0o of it. The very start of the 360o zodiac wheel and the point of birth or emergence. Which is why we are talking about a whole new you, Aries! On Feb 14, Saturn re-enters your sign and on Feb 20, meets Neptune. This has not happened in our lifetimes. This will mark a very definite ending between one era and a new one. It will impact every single person on the planet in some way, shape or form. And there’s no going back to the way we were. Or the way you were in your case, Aries.
The conjunction fuses together realism with idealism. No matter when your birthday falls this year, the 20th will stand out as the day you unfurled those monarch wings and gave birth to a more real and authentic version of you. You dissolve the old you gently – like that butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. This epic meeting of two very different energies also throws a light on something which is no longer viable for you. This is pure clarity and ensures when you take flight now, you only take with you what truly aligns with your authenticity.
We are back in eclipse season this month. With an Annular Solar Eclipse on the upcoming nodal axis of Aquarius/Leo. The Aquarian new Moon (17th), also ushers in the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. It’s a dark horse with a fiery mane and tail due to this being the kind of eclipse which produces that classic ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. Hold your horses, Aries. Resist the charge and the rush. Like all eclipses, something is hidden. Although something has a ‘ring of truth’ you may glimpse – then it vanishes. The eclipse squares Uranus in Taurus and your 2nd house. Asking you to hold tight to your money and values. The hidden message for you may well be whether you measure your worth by how much you earn or have. Especially if when it comes to your goals, you believe manifesting what you want will change how you see yourself. If we begin our manifesting journey from a place of undeservedness, then we are setting ourselves up for failure.
This eclipse may usher in changes around your social circle. Which is now in a period of evolution due to the personal one you are undertaking. Like attracts like. It’s that simple. Anything that destablises under the eclipse, is making way for who or what is more aligned to your energetic truth. Keep this in mind.
Allow yourself time to adjust as the Sun moves into Pisces and your 12th from the 18th. Take time to recalibrate, rest and reflect. Mercury reverses in here from the 26th. Offering up a period of final release of what you no longer need. Pause and enjoy releasing who you were to become who you now are. And are becoming from today onwards.
In a nutshell: Bold new beginnings beckon with the timely arrival of Saturn in your sign. Its meeting with Neptune opens up a rare new era of self-determination. That’s the wonder of you, Aries.

TAURUS
Always in motion is the future.
Master Yoda. The Empire Strikes Back
Your future, what underpins your life, what you have created or established to date, is about to be reshaped or put on an entirely different path, Taurus.
If you have not already felt the ripples of this ahead of the main surge, they reach you at the very start of the month under the Leo full Moon in your house of home, family and security. The Moon trines Ceres in your 12th, exposing hidden themes around what needs to be renegotiated or changed. This may herald an actual physical move. Towards something more sustaining for you.
It may also lead you to address the fact that something may now need releasing. This may be something you have worked hard to create or establish. And any reluctance to do so is understandable, Taurus. Especially if you worked hard to create it. But you may now have to acknowledge that while it once offered the kind of security and support you needed, it no longer does.
Uranus stations direct in your 1st on the 4th. It’s now in its endgame in your sign. It triggers a surge of momentum which removes any hesitation from your path. Or any remaining doubts around what is most definitely now about to shift for you. As ruler Venus and the Sun activate it from your 10th of success, status and reputation (8th and 16th), some of you could be faced with sudden changes around your career, your role or even your primary relationship. Your expectations also heighten in terms of how you are seen and rewarded around what you do. This in turn may lead you to acknowledge that you have outgrown that role, and go off in search of one that fits.
This month’s Annular Solar Eclipse also takes place in your 10th house. It too squares Uranus as well as ushering in the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. This is one of two major turning points for you this month, Taurus. But as this one is wrapped in enigma or mystery, you may not yet be aware of its full significance. Because eclipses of any kind conceal, you should try to steer clear of making any decisions which have long term implications under it. These include quitting your job, accepting a new one, making a major long term financial commitment, or choice around a union – move in, marry, separate, divorce etc. Above all, ensure you are 100% above board in all your dealings. And avoid anyone who isn’t on the same page.
The eclipse along with the arrival of Saturn into Aries and your 12th (14th), and its pivotal encounters with Neptune (20th), points to something being completely and totally reset. It brings a long standing chapter to a close. Releasing you from old patterns or even fears.
This is the first time these two very different planetary energies have fused in Aries and this sector of your chart. It brings up a point of destiny driven decision making for you. Or even for some, may see the decision taken out of your hands simply by fate stepping in and making it for you. This is no accident if so, Taurus. Saturn is the planet which rules time and it may say ‘Time’s up!’. Neptune dissolves barriers and also hands you a fresh perspective on your past. Even as you now watch the future re-shape itself right in front of your eyes.
Whatever you do, if you are blind-sided by something you did not see coming, do not think of yourself as a victim of fate. Instead, opt to see it as simply a necessary stage in your evolution. And the universe doing you a favour by simply removing something which no longer supported you from your path. This can even be habits which have undermined you such as self-sabotage or clinging over-long to something which holds you back.
The future is always in motion and it is ours to play with and direct. But what or rather who, powers our future, are people. Mercury’s retrograde in Pisces and your 11th (preshadow from the 12th, full reverse 26th), plus ruler Venus meeting the North Node in here on the 17th, promises reconnections and also fresh entanglements with those who are heading in the same direction as you.
The Sun reaches here on the 19th. You may review certain social commitments as well as revisiting your goals. Do they remain relevant or even hold the same enchantment they once did? Manifestation is an act of personal magic. Unless we continue to feel that spark of excitement and excitement around them, all the wizardry in the world won’t work. Or if it does, we feel curiously dissatisfied with the result. As we change, what we desire changes too.
Friends, connections, groups, clubs, networks, associations, links in that chain, provide you with not just support if you are facing changing times, but also create the motion which changes your future. You’re in motion along with it this month, Taurus.
In a nutshell: The future is not set in stone. Quantum theory tells us simply looking at something changes it. Want to peer into yours, Taurus? Who’s to say now Saturn and Neptune are in your mysterious 12th house that you can’t shape it any way you want to?

GEMINI
Step into the role you were always destined to play
Your determine your destiny
The future demands your participation
Your role, your career, your path or how you are seen by others reaches an important pivot point this month. You are being asked to take change of the direction your life flows in from here on in. To act with surety and self-certainty. And to have a very clear idea of the take-out you want to achieve or where you are headed. Game on, Gemini. Bring yours with a touch of dynamic determination.
February ushers in the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. Along with a powerful eclipse, it also sees ruler Mercury retrograde in Pisces and your 10th house. Uncertainty will be replaced by clarity, certainty and determination, Gemini. You are not driven by an outside force or ‘destiny’. You are crafting your own.
Top of the month and the Leo full Moon in your 3rd (1st) with its trine to Ceres in your 11th, turns ideas and thoughts into actions and discussions. Something you have been thinking about clarifies or reaches the point where you are ready to talk about it. Or even share or launch. This is perfect timing ahead of the upcoming retrograde as retro-shadow begins on the 12th – six days after Mercury enters your 10th. Agreements can be reached and contracts finalised under this full Moon. While an honest and open conversation hands you emotional insight into what someone is really thinking. Or your own communication style. It’s a beautiful full Moon for finding yourself on the same page.
With Mercury’s arrival in Pisces, you’ll be feeling more visible than usual. What you say, do or even how you act, is about to come under scrutiny as this is your house of public image and reputation. Expect this feeling to get dialled up once the Sun follows in here on the 19th. With the upcoming retrograde, leverage your past track record. Take yourself more seriously. Because unless you do, nobody else will. Above all, be mindful of how you are coming across. Especially to anyone in a position of authority. Under no circumstances promise more than you can deliver. Or decide to fudge the facts. You will be caught out if you do.
Needless to say, the usual retro rules apply. Mercury encounters the North Node in here on Feb 12. The day it enters pre-shadow. This is the first of three encounters Mercury will make to the North Node during its retro period. This may see the resurfacing of an old ambition, or you reflecting on what the path you have chosen has brought you to date. Or if you feel this was not chosen for you, see you come to the decision to self-direct your course going forward. Something ‘fated’ is at work now. Is an old theme repeating for you? If so, this is an opportunity to choose differently this time around.
Along with the Mercury slow-down, February hands us an eclipse. The new Moon in your 9th (Feb 17), marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. It triggers an Annular Solar Eclipse and also squares Uranus in your 12th. This truly is an eclipse under which you need to stop and acknowledge that there’s something you don’t yet see or know. And wait for more insight to emerge. It’s the new direction that may not be. Or a false start. Uranus may blindside you with something you literally did not see coming. Or did not know. But the truth hidden within this eclipse no matter what appears, is that anything removed from your path was blocking your progress.
If you are thinking of changing direction, as far as your career goes, use this time to update your CV or research your strategy. Also if you are considering a total change of direction, look to how your present skills can be utilised in a new field. You may also find your best opportunities lie with established companies or organisations who have built up an enviable track record around innovation or how they support their people. Keep in mind ‘established’ does not necessary equate to boring or traditional.
I’ve saved the biggest and best till last for you, Gemini. Saturn’s return to Aries and your 11th (14th), will see your future direction shift in more than one area. This is the first time we have seen both Saturn and Neptune together in Aries in our lifetimes. And the first time the two planets meet at 0o of this sign which happens on Feb 20. A powerful point of inception and new beginnings in the zodiac.
When it comes to your social ties and your goals, expect a ‘less is more’ reset around these. Quality over quantity. You don’t need a huge social circle. But what you will seek out are friends with whom you feel a soul connection and who ‘get’ you. The same goes for your goals. You may cull that list but the ones which remain are those most meaningful. And into which you will pour both inspiration and determination to make happen.
This isn’t your house of being a spectator. This is your house of participation. Invitations, gatherings and events may feature. With some of you even finding yourself caught up in movements and even large scale events. Or affected by them even if you are not part of them. You didn’t start the fire. It was already burning, Gemini. The people you meet and encounter, who you are introduced to, may feel placed there by fate. Your destiny and theirs will be somehow entwined. But the role you both play in each other’s lives – or in the grand scheme of things, may not be immediately obvious at first.
Last but by no means least, the very end of the month could see the past catch up with you as your retroactive reverses into Venus in your 10th (28th). That past includes rewards for that hard work. Or simply you embracing a new reality around the choices you make from this point onwards. I did mention more than one path will pivot or change this month. This includes personal relationships and partnerships. If there has been a pattern around investing in a union and not seeing the long term love or commitment you hoped for, you understand the how and the why and are able to see past the who.
You and a current partner may envision a whole new plan going forward. In the light of both parties understanding what it is they want. It’s not often we get the opportunity to reshape our world. While simultaneously helping to reshape the world around us. But you are comfortable doing both now, Gemini. It’s the role you were always destined to play.
In a nutshell: The path ahead, your role or goals in life are linked to who you know or are connected to now. Time to show up and get hands on co-creating that future now Saturn joins Neptune in your 11th. It’s an invitation from your future you.

CANCER
No more over-compromising simply to please
Reclaim that dream
I will, I can, I do
A powerful moment of self-authorship arrives this month as you decide just what you will commit to in the long term. You find your purpose and your direction in your core values. And it is these above all else, which will determine the direction you take from here.
The Leo full Moon (1st) highlights these. It throws the writing on your personal stone tablets into sharp relief. Your sensitivity and desire to keep everyone happy sometimes means you compromise too much, Cancer. Your ruler trines Ceres in your 10th. This is about reciprocity as well as a win/win. Compromise can’t simply be one-sided. Both parties have to meet in the middle. The full Moon asks you establish that emotional bulwark which clearly shows others – the buck stops here. Especially if you have a track record around giving too much.
Ahead of what is set to be a total game-changing month for you, the full Moon shines on your self-worth and brings you to a point of certainty when it comes to what you will or won’t sell out over. If worries around not being loved, accepted or even someone saying ‘No’ to you because of this and ending up with nothing at all, have prevented you from drawing a line, you’ll understand that this isn’t compromise at all. This is selling your self-worth. Real love never asks you to make that kind of deal.
This may see you quietly yet confidently release an old dynamic ahead of Saturn’s arrival in your 10th (14th). It could be a pattern of simply accepting less around how you are paid or rewarded in your career. Or simply revolve around your expectations as to how you are treated. It’s been 28 years since Saturn (also your love planet!), last visited Aries. So, for many of you, this will be your first ‘Put a ring on it’ experience of Saturn in this sector of your charts.
None of you however, have ever experienced Neptune in here. And certainly not together at the same time. The meeting of Saturn and Neptune at the key point of inception (0o Aries), on Feb 20 is a point when one era ends and a new one comes into reality. For you this will be around status, ambition, all you hold dear and even touch on issues such as what ‘homeland’ and long term security means for you.
Saturn asks you to get serious. And very, very real. To know who is boss when it comes to owning your path and your expectations. Saturn rules authority – which contains the word ‘author’. Just who is in charge of writing this upcoming narrative? You are. Neptune brings the vision and unleashes your imagination. We can say a whole new world structure is ready to be created. But first, something about your old one may have to be dismantled or give way for it to happen.
Expect an awakening and a radical reclamation around what you imagined ‘success’ looked like. You’ll feel compelled to act on this truth. Especially if this has been a feeling that has been slowly creeping up on you. That desire to initiate something more soul sustaining and lasting. Any kind of career move, achievement or goal has to contain this emotional element for you now. Or it will simply feel like an empty victory even if you succeed. You’ll called to something more meaningful, Cancer. What’s more you’ll commit to doing whatever it takes to make it work. Go the distance down a higher, truer path.
February’s other major lunation for you is the new Moon in Aquarius and an Annular Solar Eclipse in your 8th of empowered change on the 17th. This also marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. This eclipse squares Uranus in your 11th. Indicating a powerful, sudden and accelerated transformation around finances, trust, intimate ties, and changes around emotional or energetic bonds you may not see coming. As with all eclipses, you are one of the signs most profoundly affected as no matter if they are solar or lunar eclipses, your ruler is always involved.
You are strongly advised to slow down, stop and suspend judgement around what occurs two to three days either side of this eclipse. You are in the process of taking control of the direction your life flows in now. Some of this process may show you the things that are beyond that. This is so you direct your resources into what you can exert your influence over. Rather than wasting it on what you can’t.
Freedom to determine your future is the ultimate goal here. Mercury arrives in Pisces and your 9th (6th), ahead of the Sun on the 19th. This is not just your house of learning, travel, opportunity and expansion but your house of self-belief too. Mercury enters its retroshadow in here on the 12th. The day it conjuncts the North Node. During its main retroactive period (from the 26th), it will meet the North Node twice more. Giving you the sense that this is all part of a longer journey which you are now commencing.
Watch for the return of an old dream of yours with the Sun’s arrival in here and the Mercury slow-down. You will pause and integrate those long term plans more fully. Needless to say, with Mercury backwards in your house of long distance travel and big plans, do put these on hold for now. The retro rules apply – and then some. You are being asked to take your plans seriously. But without rigidly adhering to one way of getting there. To know when the time is right for you to move, the path simply unfolds at your feet. That’s the faith and self-belief part of this process, Cancer. And believe me, you have more than enough of that to get you to wherever you want to go.
In a nutshell: Time to step up and commit to something long term. Knowing you can is just part of a new reality you need to embrace. This also includes no longer feeling you need to people please. Or underestimating yourself.

LEO
What do you need to release?
A new karmic cycle begins
Relate to the world in a whole new way
February is all about the relating, Leo. How you relate to others, how they relate to you – and most importantly, how you see and relate to yourself. No matter what your relationship status.
You are in your yearly partnership peak right up until the 19th when your ruler exits Aquarius and your 7th and enters Pisces and your 8th. Ahead of this, we have a full Moon in your sign at the very start of the month. Plus the 17th puts us bang in eclipse territory with an Annular Solar Eclipse. All of this takes place against a cosmic backdrop of changing signs and changing times. As well as a Mercury retrograde in your 8th of empowered change.
The full Moon in your 1st (1st) trines Ceres in your 9th house. The house which is at the heart of this month’s major changes. It has you looking at what you are no longer prepared to carry alone. Or where they may be imbalances in a relationship. Any relationship, Leo. From you feeling seen, appreciated and acknowledged. All the way to the emotional support you receive. The positive strokes, understanding and validation. You the sign hard-wired to understand everyone’s need to stand in their own light. Full Moons shine their light into the house opposite to the one they are in. So, the Moon is shining on someone ‘opposite’. How they see you and reflect what they see back in return.
Another quality about your sign is your ability to take pride in your partner and be proud of those friends. You need to know they feel the same way. We can also say the day your pride is dented – either yours is damaged by shady, hurtful criticism, or someone acts in a way you cannot be proud of, often leads to the end of the relationship. Loss of pride comes before a fall with you. The squares made between Mercury, Venus and ruler the Sun to Uranus in your 10th, show you where you and others sit on this. And also that mutual respect as well as admiration, is the key to healthy relationships. You’ll know if you have this as your foundation. The squares can see you questioning this and give you the courage to deal with any connection that destabilises your sense of self-worth. You’re not being prideful here, Leo. Self-care and self-respect are one and the same thing.
Grounded freedom is on offer provided you take your beliefs (including self-belief), and also where you want to go next, seriously. Your standards are raised – and rightly so, as Saturn moves back into Aries and your 9th house on Feb 14. Self-belief now powers a bigger vision you have for yourself.
For many of you, this will be your first experience of Saturn in this house in your chart as adults (Saturn rules adulting!). For all of you, this is the first time Saturn and Neptune have been present in Aries together in our lifetimes. Their meeting at 0o Aries on Feb 20 – the most powerful point in astrology, marks the end of one world order, and the start of a new one. This is your house of travel, learning, philosophy, foreign affairs of all descriptions, the law (including higher spiritual law), luck, expansion, sports, mass media, the great outdoors and large animals – larger than a sheep. Yes, lions fall into that category!
Saturn rules self-control and working within a framework. Neptune rules dissolving boundaries and what is limitless, luminous and liberating. It disentangles you from anything which no longer feels true. In other words, you have a dream – and the map to get there. The rest is simply up to you, Leo. You may find yourself part of a bigger, global shift. Or you embark on a long term learning journey. Long distance travel, emigration, relocation, the digital nomad life may feature for some. Just know this is not about escapism – this is about a destination.
Do hold off on pushing the button on those plans if you can for while longer. Saturn and Neptune are slow moving planets. You have time. Especially as we are back in the double-whammy of U-turns, false starts, misdirections, snafus and reversals. An eclipse and a Mercury retrograde in other words.
Mercury moves into your house of change on the 6th. Changes will occur during its upcoming retrograde and they may take the entire retrocycle – in other words, Mercury needs to clear its post-shadow, before you gain a clear idea of how far-reaching this transformation is. Mercury enters pre-shadow on the 12th – the day it first encounters the North Node. It will make two more passes over it. Fate is closing one cycle and bringing you in a new one.
Added to this is the powerful eclipse in Aquarius and your 7th on the 17th. Marking one of the most important and determining relationship resets you have experienced in many years. The new Moon in here also marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. This is an Annular Solar Eclipse which creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. As with all eclipses, you are cut off from your power, shine or inner strength under one. This one does hand you that ‘ring of truth’ however. This could be around that direction you now need to head in. Or else touch on those earlier themes which the full Moon in your sign triggered around being seen and appreciated in your relationships.
The eclipses’ square to Uranus adds an unexpected element. Changes may arrive suddenly and unannounced. Or you experience a sudden awakening around a long term pattern with partners. No matter what, this is liberating for you in the long run. Freedom is a theme that is running across more than one area of life for you now. As with all eclipses, you need to slow down and even stop up to a week before and even for a week afterwards. Above all, pause all partnership matters. Whether they involve a major decision around an existing one or search for a new one.
Your ruler moves into your 8th on the 18th. Bringing you a time when your emotional connections deepen, you explore trust, vulnerability and intimacy. As well as looking to joint financial arrangements and revising long-term emotional agreements. With the emphasis on mutual respect and shared pride. The Sun’s encounter with the North Node (27th) is your golden opportunity to close a chapter or cycle and put something finally to rest. Ahead – brand new karma to explore.
In a nutshell: Know your destination, Leo. You’ll take the first step on a longer journey this month. But before setting out its important to know where you want to get to. It’s not just others you’ll relate to in a whole new way. It’s the world around you as your vision opens up around just what direction you’re heading in.

VIRGO
The greatest thing you’ll ever learn
Is just to love, and be loved in return
Nat King Cole. Nature Boy
No stupid Cupid retro madness for you, Virgo. With all the wise moves, you can be a retro badass instead when it comes to matters of the heart. Bad-assery begins this February by owning the common denominator in all your relationships. YOU. Yes, honestly. It’s not them. It is you.
Re-words will apply. Re-examination, revision, renegotiation and even recommitment. The biggest badass ‘re’ of all being revelation. Around the how and why that fuels your choices, your past patterns and the take-outs. As well as your deep underlying beliefs around love and being loved in return. Anything and everything from a ‘type’ if you have one, to the belief you are nothing if you aren’t in a relationship, to looking for love in all the wrong places right up to sticking with something toxic or controlling. It’s a grand free for all in your sectors of both love and its opposite – disempowerment, ambivalence and fear.
This asks for fearless badass courage and for you to suspend self-judgement, Virgo. If all is very well with your world – then you have nothing to fear from either the Mercury retrograde, or from Saturn’s move into your transformational 8th house. Nor its once-in-a-lifetime game changing encounter with Neptune (20th) for that matter.
Getting real is the name of the game this month. As well as you stepping up and owning your choices – past and present. While shifting to a place where you are open to making new and different ones for your future. February sweeps aside what is false or an illusion and exposes any reality-biting truths you need to embrace. Beginning with the Leo full Moon in your 12th (1st).
As many of you know, many astrologers believe Ceres should be your ruler rather than you co-sharing it with Gemini. There’s no ‘official’ astro ruling on this one yet. And even when signs get a new ruler, we always say the old rules apply. So, it’s entirely up to you whether when looking at what’s happening in the sky for you, whether you want to factor Ceres in or not. But seeing as Ceres embodies your Virgo qualities and trines the Leo full Moon from your 8th, in this instance we need to sit up and pay close attention.
This is about reciprocity and what you give and receive in equal measure. Love and being loved in return. As well as shortfalls and imbalances. It’s the starting point for invoking much needed ‘re’ words if you need to. Revelation. Rebalancing. Renegotiating. Rebooting – especially those values, Virgo as Mercury and the other planets in your 6th square Uranus in Taurus and your 9th before moving on into Pisces.
Mercury retro dates this month see it arrive in your 7th on the 6th, enter retroshadow the day it meets the North Node in here on the 12th, and reverse on the 26th. During its entire retroactive phase, it will meet the North Node not just once but two more times. Closing one long term chapter around relating or how you relate for good.
There is another epic shift occurring in your 8th of empowered change, transformation, self-determination, assets and direction this month. The one shift that rules them all in fact. On Feb 14, Saturn crosses from Pisces and move into Aries and your 8th. Joining Neptune. The two merge on Feb 20 – the first time this has occurred in our lifetimes. At a power point in the zodiac where all things emerge and come into being. The key Aries zero degree.
You take ownership of your patterns and release unhealthy beliefs and dependencies. Your expectations within relationships also changes. Do you fall for people who are unavailable on some level or who don’t return your feelings because you would rather have the fantasy rather than let it get real and possibly messy for instance? Or is this out of self-protection? After all, if the person isn’t actually available, your heart isn’t at risk. You’ll commit whole-heartedly when what you give and receive is mutual. This includes not just love but loyalty, openness and trust.
Saturn brings emotional maturity to bear. You apply what you have learned. That doesn’t mean pragmatism steals all the romance, Virgo. Just that you are no longer willing to allow avoidance or illusion to cloud your vision. You’ll also redefine the boundary where strength and vulnerability meet. Asking for help is an act of both. Receiving it is the love you get in return.
We are back in eclipse season. Next month sees a lunar eclipse in your sign. February’s new Moon in Aquarius (17th), not only brings in the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse, but also an Annular Solar Eclipse. Ready Retro Rules and general retro bad-assery, Virgo. Admit upfront there’s something you don’t yet know or need to re-examine before taking it further. It could even be having a bigger impact on your health or wellbeing than you think. The eclipse also squares Uranus in your 9th. Something you may have been engaged in or doing, could be having a detrimental impact on you. Possibly without you realising. Under the eclipse you are advised to not only pause your job seeking efforts but refrain from gossip or speculation at work.
You’ll enter your yearly partnership peak coming from a reimagined place of strength and truth when the Sun arrives in Pisces on the 18th. For the first time in 14 years it does so free of Neptune’s influence. You are fully present and showing up. And you’re only interested in engaging with those willing to do the same.
As Mercury stations retrograde and meets Venus at the end of the month, the pace slows to allow you to realign to what you have learned about yourself. It now all comes back to you, Virgo. Step free of those old patterns and ideas. Embrace real love, and being loved in return. Saturn is all about the lesson, Neptune about the higher love. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It also doesn’t need you to ‘fix’ it – or anyone else. In fact, you now know the difference between strain and strength. And what you get in return.
In a nutshell: Love with no strings attached, no agendas or even expectations, seems like an ideal. But not if it leaves you short-changed or the giving is one-sided. Your yearly partnership peak coincides with other major planetary shifts which have you looking at being loved in return, Virgo.

LIBRA
Work restrictions lift
Let it get real
No labels except Love
Your Ride or Die, that posse, crew, coven of heavenly heathens, band of fellow misfits or mischief makers, your partner in crime – February shines a light on all your connections in a way that’s never happened before, Libra. From your spouse or long term lover to your BFF, business partner, collaborator or social circle, all your houses of relationships and interacting are lit with big loved-up, cosmic energy. It’s all love. One is no ‘better’ or more ‘meaningful’ than the other.
The full Moon in your social and goals sector (1st) trines Ceres in Aries and your 7th. And proves exactly that point, Libra. Who is dancing in the moonlight with you now has a key role to play in the upcoming cycle. No matter whether this is your marriage partner or lover, or that friend or group. They get you. You got each other.
You’ll gain greater insight into the connections which support you and who has your back. But also be prepared to release connections or goals, which no longer fit. Your community of crazies and co-creators should energise you – not drain you. The same goes for your goals. If something doesn’t have you buzzing – either the prospect of seeing someone or the excitement of seeing that goal materialise – it’s because they or it no longer align to your authenticity, Libra.
No hanging around with the starter session this forecast – we are going to get right into the main event which is Saturn’s re-entry into Aries and your 7th on Feb 14. It’s been almost 30 years since the Put a Ring on It planet was last in here aside from a very brief visit last year (call that the trailer. This is the main feature). None of us however have ever experienced Neptune in here in our lifetime. And certainly not both planets together.
For your sign this will bring in an entirely new chapter around relating or one relationship in particular as Saturn and Neptune meet on the 20th. I have talked about the importance of the zero degree of Aries. And the significance of this major alignment occurring at what is, the power point of the entire zodiac. The first degree of the 360o zodiac wheel and the point of birth and inception.
All of us will be affected in some way, but in your 7th this will be around duos, duets, duets and double acts of all descriptions. Your past, present and potential partner. As well as taking a more all-embracing attitude to partnerships. Understanding that non-romantic unions may offer different kinds of relating experiences, but these are equally valid. And also equally important to you.
Your soul is ready to relate in new ways. And the Saturn/Neptune collusion is about bringing you the people who are also seeking to relate with the same kind of depth, into your orbit. Whether you are seeking someone with whom to create a life or simply create the time of your life with.
Along with this, you’ll release any idealism around love or what relationships should look like. That’s fine, Libra. You’re no longer looking for a Once Upon a Time fantasy. But the real thing.
Just prior to the Saturn/Neptune encounter, we also have a powerful new Moon and solar eclipse in Aquarius and your 5th of romance, attraction, creative self-expression, conception, children and pleasure. This new Moon also marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse.
This is an Annular Solar Eclipse – a second ‘ring’ metaphor for you as it creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ around the Sun we see in many eclipse photos. Eclipses always cover up and conceal. A total eclipse is a total blackout. We are completely in the dark. An Annular Solar Eclipse gives us a flash of insight into something. Then it’s gone. Possibly even leaving us wondering if we imagined it or what we felt was real? Take it any flashes, no matter how fleeing have that ‘Ring of Truth’ about them. Especially when the ringed planet is now present in your 7th.
Something is asking you to commit to it whole-heartedly. To have the bravery to follow where your heart wants to take you. To commit to doing it or having it. And most importantly, not to settle. It’s everything and all in. Or not at all. Put a ring on that.
Elsewhere in the sky this month, Mercury enters Pisces and your 6th (6th), with ruler Venus following on the 10th. The first time the Sun (18th) and other planets have transitted this house free of both Neptune and Saturn for many years. You will gain clarity around your work, studies, habits and routines. Your mind and outlook sharpens. The everyday is now clear and highlighted. Wellbeing regains priority.
Mercury begins its retroshadow in here on the 12th – the same day as it encounters the North Node. It will reverse on the 26th and engage with the North Node twice more. Venus also meets the North Node on the 17th – three days before the Saturn/Neptune alignment. You’ll look to repeating patterns around health and wellbeing. Recalibrate that workflow or routine and address that work/life balance under this retro/North Node period. But approach these tasks with a fresh perspective and heightened focus that’s been absent for quite some time.
The retro Mercury/Venus encounter at the very end of the month sees you reviewing your daily commitments, adjusting your schedule or routine, and making adjustments to make your day more meaningful. You may have a gentle yet very honest conversation with someone about your workload, burnout or simply around how you feel.
Any relationship you invest in or maintain now needs to be built on a foundation of true connection. The surface stuff won’t do. Fantasy gives way to truth and depth. This isn’t boring. This is your heart tugging you towards what’s totally and utterly real, Libra. And to borrow from Bridget Jones – yes, the nice ones DO kiss like that.
In a nutshell: So long as it’s real – it’s love, Libra. Whether this is your spouse, partner, a friendship or even a working relationship. Resist the labels, go with the feeling now Saturn and Neptune meet in Aries and your 7th. It’s love – redefined.

SCORPIO
Ground Control to Major Tom
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on
David Bowie. Space Oddity
This is Ground Control, Scorpio. Has your soul been freed by Neptune in Pisces and your 5th? Or are you drifting? Take it that you are still free to look at the stars very differently to preface Bowie. But this month brings you down to earth with a bump. Reminding you that you do need to attend to the practical aspects of reaching them. Take your protein pills, put your helmet on, do a pre-flight check, fasten your seatbelt for take-off. And tether yourself to the mothership before taking that space walk.
I’m bringing all this up ahead of the arrival of Ground Control planet Saturn into Aries and your 6th house of work, wellbeing and practical matters (14th). This is no time to neglect the small stuff. That minutiae, the details, the beautifully aligned, small but perfect working parts of the priceless timepiece which is your body and your daily life, need to be cared for, updated and given the focus and attention they need to function. Otherwise you’re not free and floating, you’re permanently grounded.
Just ahead of Saturn’s arrival, the full Moon in your 10th already has you looking at that work/life balance as it trines Ceres in Aries (1st). Is what you are doing working for you? You’ll experience a moment of clarity around this. If it is, expect the light of recognition to shine in your direction. A moment of visibility and validation. Bask in that glory, Scorpio. You’ve earned it. You will also be extremely aware of how the work you engage in impacts your wellbeing. And that any kind of success must support your wellbeing. Not be at the cost of it.
Uranus direct once more in Taurus and your house of partnerships, marks a significant turning point in a key relationship. Or your relationship status. Uranus is moving into its endgame in this sector of your chart. It will exit here in April. If a relationship has stalled, it may suddenly and surprisingly, restart. You experience a profound awakening around a relationship issue or your needs. Which have been evolving and changing throughout this transit. If something now needs to change around a relationship dynamic, resisting it will only cause frustration and/or friction. Again – how does that impact on your wellbeing? Better to get ahead of it.
With Mercury (6th), Venus (8th), and then the Sun (18th), entering Pisces and your 5th, pleasure and self-expression become a sacred pact you make with yourself. And a key component of that long term focus on self-care you are about to enter into. Depth and joyful self-expression can co-exist. In fact, these are intertwined with your destiny now.
We are entering Mercury retrograde season. It begins on the 12th when Mercury first entangles with the North Node in here. Mercury will meet it twice more during its upcoming retrograde. Its full reversal begins on the 26th. The usual retro rules apply. In your house of romance and also holidays, you may want to pause the swipe or booking that break in addition to the usual cautions. This will prove to be a fabulous time for recapturing lost loves however. These include those creative outlets, hobbies, pastimes, and engaging in those activities where you blissfully lose all track of time and cease to care about what others may think of you.
Fated moments will occur. Without you looking or even trying to make something happen. Take it if something is ‘meant to be’ – it will. You don’t need to force anything – and shouldn’t, under this cycle. Retrograde ‘re’ words apply and these do include reconciliation. But unless this now happens organically, it’s not meant to be so don’t go trying to make it happen.
Ground control is calling now. Asking you to look to that launchpad or even that starship. Saturn’s arrival in Aries is the start of a long term restructuring of what supports you around your work, health and daily routine. What underpins this or allows you to build it from the ground up is your home, residence, family life and living arrangements. Where you are grounded. Mission control.
The new Moon and Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and your 4th, squares Aquarius’ ruling planet Uranus in your 7th (17th). This also marks the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. Eclipses always conceal. A total eclipse is a complete cover-up. An Annular eclipse like this one, creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. Something chimes within us – but we only have a glimpse of the bigger picture. With the retroshadow also in effect, try to avoid decisions around moving or property matters. As well as anything likely to have a long term impact on family matters or even your income or financial security.
What may emerge for you could be a change around family dynamics or your living arrangements. Or a desire to redefine what ‘home’ means to you. This eclipse will however break new ground for you when it comes to laying the foundations for something more lasting. Which fulfils your long term emotional needs.
All this is tied in to the environment you spend the most time in – often home in these days of hybrid working, what you do to support yourself, and the structure, routines and habits which give your life meaning. All these are now likely to be remade or undergo a major design overhaul as for the first time in our lifetimes, Saturn and Neptune meet in your 6th on Feb 20. At the key 0o of Aries – the point of inception and new beginnings in the zodiac. You won’t be going back to an old way of working or doing things. Heading forward, your emphasis is going to be on the ground control basics – ensuring the details which enhance your wellbeing are in place, before going forward.
This can usher in a new job, course of study or approach to fitness, wellness or healthy choices. Neptune adds the all-important insights. While Saturn hands you the step-by-step practical approach. Including those key steps before take-off. This is about working with your energy, not against it. And enhancing those everyday tasks with inspiration for practical, magical, life-affirming results.
Time to play, for pleasure, to devote yourself to something that may turn into your vocation, or simply to lean into what is true and heart-led for you, make doing this kind of work easy. You’ll factor this in and give it fresh priority when looking at changes to your routine. Life feels more free-flowing, richer and real when you simply follow that bliss. As now retro Mercury meets Venus at the very end of the month, that heart/head connection deepens into a guidance you know you can trust. Relationships flourish with honesty. You strengthen both emotional ties and your practical foundation. And revisit those creative projects and passions which come alive again with new meaning. All play a role in creating a life that works for you. It’s work you’re happy to do because it no longer feels like that, phoenix. This is Ground Control saying ready for take off. Ad astra. To the stars.
In a nutshell: Don’t neglect the small stuff. Not only is it all small stuff, the small stuff is what makes the bigger magic happen. You can’t reach the stars without a starship. You can’t pilot it unless you’ve prepared. Love the details now Saturn meets Neptune in your house of the everyday. They are what will take you further.

SAGITTARIUS
You have your dreams for a reason
What frees your soul?
Blaze that trail and head for glory!
You’re catching fire this February, Sag. First up, we have a blazing glory full Moon lighting up your sector of all things close to your wild heart – travel, opportunity, expansion, adventure. The full Moon in Leo and your 9th (1st), promises freedom, an Access All Areas pass past recent restrictions, reawakens your inner explorer and could even deliver a lucky break or affirmation around the path you are on. Expect attention, forward progress or an idea to peak. The pursuit of happiness or that big love where the journey itself turns into a living, breathing goal you are immersed in.
We have our dreams for a reason. And very often for those born under your sign, or with big Sag chart factors, having something to aim for or look forward to is as necessary to your survival as air and water. Without them – you are a very dull Sag indeed. This full Moon fires up that dream for you. Allow yourself to be led wherever your heart wants to take you. The full Moon’s trine to Ceres in your pleasure sector is a reminder just why you need this in the first place!
It’s not only your fellow fire sign of Leo which features in fire-starting February. As well as Ceres, Chiron and Neptune in spark to a flame Aries, Saturn brings the slow-burn when it re-enters here on Feb 14. Creating a massive four factor stellium. Do check your chart for your Sag factors. This also applies to those of you with a Sagittarius ascendant or a Sag stellium. Especially if you have anything at any extremely early degree – 0 degrees of Sagittarius. If you have this, then the once-in-a-lifetime alignment at zero point Aries will trine it.
This is a point of release for you into new beginnings. It is an amazing grace moment which frees you and sends you down a passionate, heady path. Fuelled by your belief around a heart-driven dream. It is a game-changer when it comes to romance, doing what you love, creative self-expression and for some of you, babies and children. This may see some of you make the decision to become a parent for instance. That lover could come as part of a package deal. Fame or romance finds you. Or that idea catches fire which then sends your life in a new direction entirely. The 0o of Aries is a point of inception and creation. Wild hearts are meant to run free. Usually by committing to the dream which frees them. Your heart knows what you are meant to do or what your follow-through needs to be. Something you have dreamed of doing, now becomes possible.
We also have a major eclipse in your sector of communication and ideas on Feb 17. The Aquarian new Moon also squares Uranus in your 6th. Take it your ideas store or way of thinking will be in the process of a reboot under this eclipse. This is an Annular Solar Eclipse – the kind that creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. All eclipses feature the art of concealment. Uranus in the mix tells you that you need to be at your most open-minded. And potentially turn your usual thinking on its head. Surprises can come out of left-field. And due to Mercury in your 4th now in pre-shadow, this emphasises the need to take nothing at face value.
There’s a need to let go of outdated thinking or even ways of doing things. A conversation could have a surprising outcome – in a good way. What emerges could be a fully formed version of an idea you have been toying with for a while. With a new way to move it ahead.
A property matter or a cycle of living is also ending this month. Look back 14 years if need be, to changes or even restrictions which have affected your home, family circumstances or living arrangements. Perhaps you down-sized when you didn’t want to. You may have felt stuck where you are – ‘Imprisoned’ even. Or despite all your efforts, unsettled and drifting. The good news with both Saturn and Neptune evicted permanently from Pisces and your 4th, is that any lingering issues around home and property will resolve themselves over the next couple of months.
You have harmonious alignments between Mercury (16th), Venus (22nd) and ruler Jupiter in your 8th which may resolve matters in your favour. Or free you up to finally move. Mercury meets the North Node in your 4th the day it turns retrograde (12th). It will encounter it twice more during it retrograde cycle. Venus engages with the North Node on the 17th and the Sun on the 27th. The end of the month opening a doorway to living on a larger scale. Think of it as simply creating the space for that dream to move into, Sag.
In a nutshell: You’re catching fire and blazing a trail towards something or someone that fans those free-spirited flames of freedom and love this February. This is no flash in the pan, Sag. This is the start of the scorch trail that ignites the slow burn. Flame on!

CAPRICORN
Change happens right where you are
Build that foundation of belonging
Claim the life you were always meant to be living
Lean into change right from the very start of the month, Cappy. There’s a brand new deal on the table when it comes to home, lifestyle, living arrangements and even work and/or family responsibilities. The full Moon in Leo and your 8th (1st) and its sublime trine to Ceres in your 4th, opens the door to creating an emotional foundation that is both supportive and sustaining ahead of ruler Saturn’s arrival in Aries on the 14th.
This will be a great unfolding for you rather than a sudden, swift change. This is because two slow moving planets power this – ruler Saturn and also Neptune. Saturn’s return to your home zone mid-month is something that has not occurred for almost 30 years. For many of you, this will be your first experience of Saturn in this sector of your chart as adults able to determine your lifepath.
For each and every single one of us, this is the first time in our lifetimes that Saturn and Neptune have been occupying Aries. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction of the 20th is another first for all residents of planet earth. The two planets meet at 0o Aries. The zero point in the astrological sky. The point of inception, birth and when things come into being. When this occurs, expect a total reset or pivot around home, property, living space, your foundation, family and roots. Right up to the country or nation you currently occupy.
You are being asked to establish something which sustains you and provides you with that all-important sense of belonging. This can be a community just as easily as it could be a bricks and mortar structure. Or even a source of emotional or financial security. Your ruler always asks for you to establish something. Neptune in the mix has you looking beyond what may have created a false sense of security in the past. This is you creating safety, security and stability for who you are now. And for the future. Not who you used to be. Those needs have altered.
However, do watch for clinging to the past, nostalgia, yearning for ‘the way things were’, or even become defensive around what you feel forms part of your security. Neptune in the mix can either see you feeling that you are at home anywhere in the cosmos. Or else unanchored and blaming the drift on others. If so, you may become very over-protective. Especially if you feel change may erode the security you already have.
Ruler Saturn asks you to understand that you can create your own sense of safety. Via first creating strong emotional boundaries. Stability always starts within us. But just like building any house, you can’t construct this overnight. Foundations come first. Sometimes we have to first demolish something that has become unstable or can no longer be relied on to shelter us. If this is the case, you’ll raise up something more stable and sustaining in its place. Neptune has you looking at your past, dissolving the barriers it has thrown up that lie between you, and living the way you need to now. Especially if the generational legacy you have inherited around the how and where you live your life isn’t a reflection of who you are.
Money and resources have a big role to play in constructing that future. Tight squares between Venus, Mercury and the Sun in your 2nd and Uranus in your 5th, may actually result in you utilising what you have in a new and more innovative way. However, do not take any risks with your money this month. Especially around the time of the new Moon and eclipse in your 2nd (17th). This eclipse also squares Uranus in your 5th. Something may not add up or be worth it.
This eclipse and new Moon mark the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. But like all eclipses, there’s a cover up or something you cannot yet see. This is an Annular Solar Eclipse. One which delivers that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun we see in many eclipse photos. Above all, hold fast to those long term plans and what you truly value under it. You align your resources – which include your talents, time and love, to what truly and authentically matters to you. Avoid unnecessary expenditure, speculation or that ‘bargain’ which truly isn’t. Especially as this eclipse takes place right as Mercury in your 3rd house is in pre-shadow (from the 12th).
As part of its retrograde cycle, Mercury will meet the karmic north node in your 3rd three times. The first is on the day it enters it pre-shadow (12th). You may notice conversations you’ve had in the past repeating. If not with the original person you had them with, then the topic is the same. What is coming around again is doing so for final resolution. Or for you to opt for a different conclusion this time.
The retro rules need the respect you would give to stone tablets handed to you from heaven. This is due to Mercury heading backwards (from the 26th), in its ruling house in your chart. Your 3rd of communication, agreements and also your online life. Ideas resurface. If so, they deserve serious reconsideration. You’ll be in a period of revision and rethinking when the Sun joins Mercury and Venus in here (18th). Although we are in retro weather, your thoughts and ideas are more free flowing and gain a fresh clarity. That is down to this being the first time the Sun has transitted this house in your since without the presence of Neptune in here.
What you say and how you say it, matters more than usual. You’ll be paying close attention to your own communication style. Along with your ability to really listen. The closer you pay to things such as subtext and non-verbal communication, the better your ability to get to the heart of what is really being said. What is being left out of a discussion – what’s left unsaid, that deflection or distraction for instance, or the fact that someone never asks you questions in return. You may not have noticed this in the past. But now it speaks volumes.
Discussions may go back and forth and nothing may be resolved of finalised until next month when Mercury ends its retrocycle and closes a conversation when it meets the North Node for the third and final time. Its meeting with Venus on the 28th could see you revisit a conversation productively or reinject a project or plan with fresh insight and creativity. Your enhanced self-awareness, especially around the decisions and choices you need to make around your long term path and security leads to home truths. Which in turn hand you renewed trust in your choices. Welcome home.
In a nutshell: Ruler Saturn joins Neptune in Aries and your 4th. No matter where you find yourself at the start of this cycle, expect the kind of profound, moving experiences which put you right where you are meant to be. You’re coming home – to yourself.

AQUARIUS
Celebrate yourself
Radical honesty leads to radical liberation
Ideas are grounded in reality
Opulent, electrifying and expressive, the full Moon in Leo and your 7th shines its light back in your direction on the 1st. It asks if you are being seen, appreciated, celebrated and receiving the attention you deserve? If your birthday falls around the start of the month, there’s no better moon under which to schedule those celebrations.
Are you still waiting for approval and/or permission to turn up as you, Aquarius? Do you fear the withdrawal of love or support if you do? With five planets in your sign as the month begins – Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto, you’re being asked to serve the most authentic version of you yet. With the upcoming eclipse in your sign (17th), do look to who or what may make you feel that you can’t show up as yourself – for yourself. The full Moon trines Ceres in your 3rd – the sector of your chart where this month’s biggest and most impactful change takes place. This is all about what you say about yourself. And whether or not you are allowing others to edit or dictate that.
You are coming to the point where you realise you don’t need anyone’s permission but your own – and neither should you need it. So any relationships which make you feel you have to adapt to fit others’ expectations of who you should be may not survive the series of tight squares between the planets in your sign, the eclipse, and ruler Uranus now direct once more in Taurus and your 4th. This is your homecoming, Aquarius. As well as one of the most powerful relaunches of your personal message, brand and ideas you have ever experienced.
Uranus direct (4th) marks the endgame when it comes to changes around your home, living arrangements, lifestyle, property matters, shifting family dynamics, homeland security and belonging. Any further changes which occur between now and Uranus making its permanent exit from Taurus in April, are intended to liberate you from anything which does not provide true security. Or which now keeps you stuck and no longer allows room for growth. Any unexpected moves or shifts you now have to contend with between now and then, are likely to be final.
The squares will also see you faced with moments when you have to honestly confront mismatches between who you are and what ‘home’ and belonging truly means to you. Feeling ‘at home’ includes the level of acceptance we receive from others, feeling we ‘fit’ into that role or lifepath and people who ‘get’ us. Most importantly – those who do not seek to change us, but accept us, just the way we are.
Mercury is the first planet to leave your 1st house on the 6th. Venus 10th, and the Sun moves on the 19th. As this is your house of self-worth and relationships that are ‘assets’ to you, this process may continue on into March. Especially as Mercury retrogrades in here later this month (26th). You will come from a place of value above all else. Including valuing yourself more. Take it you will reassess how those connections reflect this over the coming weeks and the Mercury retrograde. The squares crack open what is false – or makes you feel you have to be false. Radical you is freed by radical honesty. Who adds the real value and offers you freedom to be you surges forward.
Before this occurs, ancient ruler Saturn moves from Pisces and your 2nd and into Aries and your 3rd on the 14th. Keep in mind during this pivotal and extremely long cycle, that the old rules still apply. Especially with Saturn who is strictly old school! Saturn behaves very differently in your sign than it does in its other ruling sign of Capricorn. That’s the key difference. It takes on a different flavour. It is about ‘knowing thyself’ and self-mastery in your sign. Once in your 3rd, it is about keeping your word and standing by what you say and your ideas. As well as lasting commitments and delivering on those promises.
It’s been almost 30 years since Saturn last took up a long term position in this house. 163 years since Neptune’s last visit. It’s not just those of you who were under 18 last time Saturn arrived that are looking at a defining moment around how you think, your ideas and how you communicate – but all of you. None of us have ever experienced a meeting between Saturn and Neptune in Aries before. And certainly not at the most powerfully resetting degree in astrology – 0o Aries. The first degree of the 360o zodiac wheel. A powerful point of birth, inception and new beginnings. Which is where the two planets merge on the 20th.
An idea emerges and coalesces combining clarity and imaginative intent. It’s one thing to have a dream or a vision. Another to do the work to bring it into reality. You can now combine inspiration and a long term plan to draw something over that threshold of possibilities and ground it in the real world. Dreaming and believing collide with intention. This isn’t spin. It’s creative determination.
A key belief may shift and change. Your thought processes are more structured, but your mind is more open than ever. News could arrive around this time which shifts anything from your outlook, to your work, projects and plans, to that personal message as this meeting occurs just three days after the new Moon and the eclipse in your sign. So, it is still under the eclipse influence when it happens.
Although the Saturn/Neptune meeting affects each and everyone of us collectively, from a personal perspective, the most important astral event of the month for you is the new Moon and eclipse of the 17th. It marks the end of an old way of how you see, believe or think about yourself. With the eclipse creating a portal via which the new ‘you’ emerges. Its secret is in its capacity to hand you a complete personal reset. This may have been building in the background for quite some time. The square to Uranus marks the point where the pressure needs to be released. You have to be true to yourself. You won’t be able to carry on with any further pretence. This not only marks the start of a brand new lunar cycle for you (see your New Moon and Eclipse in Aquarius forecast for more), but under it, you’ll liberate yourself from expectations which no longer fit. Especially those imposed on your by others.
Lastly, those future proof constant values which say more about who you are than anything else. Intensely validating moments around these occur with the meetings between the North Node and Mercury (12th), Venus (17th) and the Sun (27th). You will be reviewing financial and personal commitments during the Mercury retrograde (from the 26th). While deciding just what direction you send those precious resources in – including time, money and love, for your future. This could even involve pulling them back from something you have been heavily invested in. But you now see no longer pays you the same in return. Something may show you just how worthwhile your investment has been on the 28th when retro Mercury meets Venus. I could say it has matured with interest. Your best investment going forward is always going to be you and your ideas.
In a nutshell: Feeling we can show up as ourselves – authentic and unfiltered, and be accepted for who we are, is essential to all our relationships. A powerful eclipse in your sign brings a personal moment or recalibration and self-acceptance. Show up for yourself – others show up for you.

PISCES
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright, bright
Sun-shiny day
Johnny Nash. I Can See Clearly Now
The landscape that’s coming into focus right in front of your eyes this month looks and feels very different to anything you’ve seen. Potentially ever, Pisces. For one thing, this is the first birthday cycle since 2011 that you’ve experienced free of the influence of ruler Neptune in your sign. Which may make everything around you look rendered in high definition, 4K clarity. You are also free of Saturn’s limitations as it too exits your sign on the 14th – four days before the Sun’s arrival.
You may feel as if you’ve been peering through coke bottle glasses which have suddenly been replaced with the ultimate VR headset. Everything now looks lighter, brighter, with brilliant resolution and depth. Your birthday cycle will be one of rediscovery. And seeing the world anew with fresh eyes. Gone are those dark clouds of delusion and confusion. You can see clearly again.
You will also receive the gift of a searing moment of revelation around your money, self-worth and who or what values you. First, I am going to talk about this month’s two lunations for you. The full Moon in your 6th and its trine to Ceres in your 2nd (1st). Then the new Moon and eclipse in your mysterious 12th. These two events will be linked to what is revealed for you.
How you are rewarded, valued and your work/life balance is highlighted by the Leo full Moon. Something may be renegotiated under this. If your current work (paid or unpaid), or the way you do things has turned into a drudge or you simply feel you are on the wrong track, then this is asking you to return and re-examine what you value the most. Is this time to spend on what is most important to you? Peace? Quality of life? Your health? There’s room here for renegotiation or a better deal. You are about to leave behind something that no longer serves a purpose in your life. That upcoming revelation may revolve around letting this go.
As the month unfolds, we have a series of very tense aspects occurring between the Sun, Mercury and Venus in your 12th, and Uranus now direct again in your 3rd. These can bring surprise revelations. Along with need to know truths. This will peak with the new Moon and eclipse which also squares Uranus on the 17th. The day before the Sun reaches your sign. This is a point of profound inner clearing for you. As things sharpen and reality replaces illusion, you will understand what needs to be released and let go of.
This is an Annular Solar Eclipse as well as the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. For you, the point of three new cycles commencing simultaneously. All eclipses conceal and cover up. With a total eclipse we are utterly in the dark. An Annular eclipse produces the classic ‘ring of fire’ effect around the Sun we see in so many eclipse photos. For you, in your house of insight, intuition, secrets and hidden truths, this is about that ‘gut’ feeling. Suddenly something has a ‘ring of truth’ to it. It confirms what you have been feeling or picking up. Hold that thought. Even if you are not 100% certain of it yet. The confusion is clearing. You’ll soon receive confirmation you were right. All along.
Ruler Neptune has left your sign for good. It will not return this lifetime. It is now settled into Aries and your 2nd house and is joined by Saturn on the 14th. Saturn takes approximately 28 years to
complete its orbit. So, your money and values are having their Saturn return. For many of you, this will be the first time Saturn has moved through this sector of your charts as adults who are in charge of your financial destiny. For all of us, this is the first time this lifetime both Saturn and Neptune have been together in here at the same time. Their meeting on Feb 20 is pivotal. It takes place at 0o of Aries – the first degree of the 360o wheel of the zodiac. The most potent point of creation, entry and inception.
There is not one of us on the planet who will remain unaffected by this on some level. For you, this is about your personal worth – or rather self-worth. When you take yourself more seriously and commit to a ‘gold standard’ set of rules where you value yourself consistently.
Neptune allows you to redefine these based on soul worth. Not simply material worth. To release illusions around just how much is ‘enough’. No more buying into what no longer adds real, lasting value to your life. Saturn rules the tradition and the lasting. You may ditch the fast fashion, instant gratification consumerist mindset and replace this with a less is more, quality not quantity one. You’re prepared to save or wait to have that lasting, quality item rather than spend on a disposable one. You opt for style which is timeless rather than fashion which is fleeting. Antiques or upcycled rather than flat packs or mass produced items. Vinted or charity shop finds than cheap brands.
Neptune can inspire you with creative ways to increase your income. Saturn grounds those plans in reality. Dreams not only become something you invest in, but sustainable. You may do more with what you already have by discovering creative ways to budget for instance. That could even turn into a money spinning idea in itself depending on how you leverage it.
Your source of income may change. You establish one that no longer requires you to sell your soul in order to keep your body together. You redefine what ‘rich’ or ‘abundance’ looks like. As well as being able to look at what you already have with a fresh sense of gratitude and satisfaction. This includes your relationships. Despite what many astrologers would have you believe, Saturn in your 2nd can deliver that solid gold partnership. One that lasts. Neptune one that also shares the same spiritual values. But if anyone has been taking advantage of you, or is simply out for themselves, then you’ll see that hidden agenda very clearly now.
Your birthday cycle which begins the day after the eclipse is the first one you’ve experienced since 2011 free of Neptune. And now Saturn. That’s why everything looks and feels lighter, brighter and clearer. This is however a slow or even a false start. You should ease into it and not rush. Take time with any personal decisions if you can.
Mercury retrograde in your sign, plus the other planets in here – Sun and Venus, will meet the North Node. Closing off one long term cycle and beginning a new one. The North Node leaves you later this year. Mercury will meet it not once but three times during its retrograde. The first is on the 12th when it begins its preshadow phase. Yes, you are in a process of new beginnings. But first comes the integration. As well as you adjusting to what you now see. Then comes the renewal. Also that clarity to continue to come into focus. Avoid judging yourself or engaging in harsh self-talk. Be patient. Practice self-forgiveness and acceptance. Allow yourself your mistakes and thank them for what they taught you. Seeing clearly and valuing yourself are one and the same thing for you. And allow yourself to begin again.
In a nutshell: Happy birthday, Pisces. This year may look and feel very different to previous cycles. Clearer, brighter, more luminous. You feel more focussed and aligned. The reason? Saturn exits your sign and entangles with Neptune in Aries. This is self-worth – redefined.
