You may discard old identities you’ve had to adopt out of necessity or what I like to call maladapting to fit in, and allow yourself the pure unrestrained luxury of allowing yourself to experiment with who you want to be now. The full Moon trines Ceres in your 1^st. This is a deal you make with yourself. There’s no rush, Aries. Choosing which version of you comes next only asks you reconnect to what hands you joy, clarity, pleasure and boosts your self-confidence. Radiance is the key word here. What allows you to be that? Because eclipses of any kind conceal, you should try to steer clear of making any decisions which have long term implications under it. February is all about the relating, Leo. How you relate to others, how they relate to you – and most importantly, how you see and relate to yourself. No matter what your relationship status.

You are in your yearly partnership peak right up until the 19^th when your ruler exits Aquarius and your 7^th and enters Pisces and your 8^th. Ahead of this, we have a full Moon in your sign at the very start of the month. Plus the 17^th puts us bang in eclipse territory with an Annular Solar Eclipse. All of this takes place against a cosmic backdrop of changing signs and changing times. As well as a Mercury retrograde in your 8^th of empowered change.

The full Moon in your 1^st (1^st) trines Ceres in your 9^th house. The house which is at the heart of this month’s major changes. It has you looking at what you are no longer prepared to carry alone. Or where they may be imbalances in a relationship. Any relationship, Leo. From you feeling seen, appreciated and acknowledged. All the way to the emotional support you receive. The positive strokes, understanding and validation. You the sign hard-wired to understand everyone’s need to stand in their own light. Full Moons shine their light into the house opposite to the one they are in. So, the Moon is shining on someone ‘opposite’. How they see you and reflect what they see back in return.

Another quality about your sign is your ability to take pride in your partner and be proud of those friends. You need to know they feel the same way. We can also say the day your pride is dented – either yours is damaged by shady, hurtful criticism, or someone acts in a way you cannot be proud of, often leads to the end of the relationship. Loss of pride comes before a fall with you. The squares made between Mercury, Venus and ruler the Sun to Uranus in your 10^th, show you where you and others sit on this. And also that mutual respect as well as admiration, is the key to healthy relationships. You’ll know if you have this as your foundation. For all of you, this is the first time Saturn and Neptune have been present in Aries together in our lifetimes. Their meeting at 0^o Aries on Feb 20 – the most powerful point in astrology, marks the end of one world order, and the start of a new one. This is your house of travel, learning, philosophy, foreign affairs of all descriptions, the law (including higher spiritual law), luck, expansion, sports, mass media, the great outdoors and large animals – larger than a sheep. Saturn rules self-control and working within a framework. Neptune rules dissolving boundaries and what is limitless, luminous and liberating. It disentangles you from anything which no longer feels true. In other words, you have a dream – and the map to get there. The rest is simply up to you, Leo. You may find yourself part of a bigger, global shift. Or you embark on a long term learning journey. Long distance travel, emigration, relocation, the digital nomad life may feature for some. Just know this is not about escapism – this is about a destination.

Do hold off on pushing the button on those plans if you can for while longer. Saturn and Neptune are slow moving planets. You have time. Especially as we are back in the double-whammy of U-turns, false starts, misdirections, snafus and reversals. An eclipse and a Mercury retrograde in other words.

Mercury moves into your house of change on the 6^th. Changes will occur during its upcoming retrograde and they may take the entire retrocycle – in other words, Mercury needs to clear its post-shadow, before you gain a clear idea of how far-reaching this transformation is. Mercury enters pre-shadow on the 12^th – the day it first encounters the North Node. It will make two more passes over it. Fate is closing one cycle and bringing you in a new one.

Added to this is the powerful eclipse in Aquarius and your 7^th on the 17^th. Marking one of the most important and determining relationship resets you have experienced in many years. The new Moon in here also marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. This is an Annular Solar Eclipse which creates that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun. As with all eclipses, you are cut off from your power, shine or inner strength under one. This one does hand you that ‘ring of truth’ however. This could be around that direction you now need to head in. Or else touch on those earlier themes which the full Moon in your sign triggered around being seen and appreciated in your relationships.

The eclipses’ square to Uranus adds an unexpected element. Changes may arrive suddenly and unannounced. Or you experience a sudden awakening around a long term pattern with partners. No matter what, this is liberating for you in the long run. Freedom is a theme that is running across more than one area of life for you now. Getting real is the name of the game this month. As well as you stepping up and owning your choices – past and present. This is about reciprocity and what you give and receive in equal measure. Love and being loved in return. As well as shortfalls and imbalances. A total eclipse is a total blackout. We are completely in the dark. An Annular Solar Eclipse gives us a flash of insight into something. Then it’s gone. Possibly even leaving us wondering if we imagined it or what we felt was real? Take it any flashes, no matter how fleeing have that ‘Ring of Truth’ about them. Especially when the ringed planet is now present in your 7^th.

Something is asking you to commit to it whole-heartedly. To have the bravery to follow where your heart wants to take you. To commit to doing it or having it. And most importantly, not to settle. It’s everything and all in. Or not at all. Put a ring on that.

Elsewhere in the sky this month, Mercury enters Pisces and your 6^th (6^th), with ruler Venus following on the 10^th. Mercury begins its retroshadow in here on the 12^th – the same day as it encounters the North Node. It will reverse on the 26^th and engage with the North Node twice more. Venus also meets the North Node on the 17^th – three days before the Saturn/Neptune alignment. You’ll look to repeating patterns around health and wellbeing. Recalibrate that workflow or routine and address that work/life balance under this retro/North Node period. But approach these tasks with a fresh perspective and heightened focus that’s been absent for quite some time.

I’m bringing all this up ahead of the arrival of Ground Control planet Saturn into Aries and your 6^th house of work, wellbeing and practical matters (14^th). This is no time to neglect the small stuff. That minutiae, the details, the beautifully aligned, small but perfect working parts of the priceless timepiece which is your body and your daily life, need to be cared for, updated and given the focus and attention they need to function. Otherwise you’re not free and floating, you’re permanently grounded.

Just ahead of Saturn’s arrival, the full Moon in your 10^th already has you looking at that work/life balance as it trines Ceres in Aries (1^st). Is what you are doing working for you? You’ll experience a moment of clarity around this. If it is, expect the light of recognition to shine in your direction. A moment of visibility and validation. Bask in that glory, Scorpio. The full Moon in Leo and your 8^th (1^st) and its sublime trine to Ceres in your 4^th, opens the door to creating an emotional foundation that is both supportive and sustaining ahead of ruler Saturn’s arrival in Aries on the 14^th.

This will be a great unfolding for you rather than a sudden, swift change. This is because two slow moving planets power this – ruler Saturn and also Neptune. Saturn’s return to your home zone mid-month is something that has not occurred for almost 30 years. For many of you, this will be your first experience of Saturn in this sector of your chart as adults able to determine your lifepath.

For each and every single one of us, this is the first time in our lifetimes that Saturn and Neptune have been occupying Aries. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction of the 20^th is another first for all residents of planet earth. The two planets meet at 0^o Aries. The zero point in the astrological sky. The point of inception, birth and when things come into being. When this occurs, expect a total reset or pivot around home, property, living space, your foundation, family and roots. Right up to the country or nation you currently occupy.

You are being asked to establish something which sustains you and provides you with that all-important sense of belonging. This can be a community just as easily as it could be a bricks and mortar structure. Or even a source of emotional or financial security. Your ruler always asks for you to establish something. Neptune in the mix has you looking beyond what may have created a false sense of security in the past. This is you creating safety, security and stability for who you are now. And for the future. Not who you used to be. Those needs have altered.

However, do watch for clinging to the past, nostalgia, yearning for ‘the way things were’, or even become defensive around what you feel forms part of your security. This eclipse and new Moon mark the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. But like all eclipses, there’s a cover up or something you cannot yet see. This is an Annular Solar Eclipse. One which delivers that ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun we see in many eclipse photos. Above all, hold fast to those long term plans and what you truly value under it. You align your resources – which include your talents, time and love, to what truly and authentically matters to you. Avoid unnecessary expenditure, speculation or that ‘bargain’ which truly isn’t. Especially as this eclipse takes place right as Mercury in your 3^rd house is in pre-shadow (from the 12^th).

As part of its retrograde cycle, Mercury will meet the karmic north node in your 3^rd three times. The first is on the day it enters it pre-shadow (12^th). You may notice conversations you’ve had in the past repeating. If not with the original person you had them with, then the topic is the same. What is coming around again is doing so for final resolution. Or for you to opt for a different conclusion this time.

The retro rules need the respect you would give to stone tablets handed to you from heaven. This is due to Mercury heading backwards (from the 26^th), in its ruling house in your chart. The landscape that’s coming into focus right in front of your eyes this month looks and feels very different to anything you’ve seen. Potentially ever, Pisces. For one thing, this is the first birthday cycle since 2011 that you’ve experienced free of the influence of ruler Neptune in your sign. Which may make everything around you look rendered in high definition, 4K clarity. You are also free of Saturn’s limitations as it too exits your sign on the 14^th – four days before the Sun’s arrival.

You may feel as if you’ve been peering through coke bottle glasses which have suddenly been replaced with the ultimate VR headset. Everything now looks lighter, brighter, with brilliant resolution and depth. Your birthday cycle will be one of rediscovery. And seeing the world anew with fresh eyes. Gone are those dark clouds of delusion and confusion. You can see clearly again.

You will also receive the gift of a searing moment of revelation around your money, self-worth and who or what values you. First, I am going to talk about this month’s two lunations for you. The full Moon in your 6^th and its trine to Ceres in your 2^nd (1^st). Then the new Moon and eclipse in your mysterious 12^th. These two events will be linked to what is revealed for you.

How you are rewarded, valued and your work/life balance is highlighted by the Leo full Moon. Something may be renegotiated under this. If your current work (paid or unpaid), or the way you do things has turned into a drudge or you simply feel you are on the wrong track, then this is asking you to return and re-examine what you value the most. Is this time to spend on what is most important to you? Peace? Quality of life? Your health? There’s room here for renegotiation or a better deal. You are about to leave behind something that no longer serves a purpose in your life. That upcoming revelation may revolve around letting this go.

As the month unfolds, we have a series of very tense aspects occurring between the Sun, Mercury and Venus in your 12^th, and Uranus now direct again in your 3^rd. These can bring surprise revelations. Along with need to know truths. This will peak with the new Moon and eclipse which also squares Uranus on the 17^th. The day before the Sun reaches your sign. This is a point of profound inner clearing for you. As things sharpen and reality replaces illusion, you will understand what needs to be released and let go of.

This is an Annular Solar Eclipse as well as the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. For you, the point of three new cycles commencing simultaneously. All eclipses conceal and cover up. With a total eclipse we are utterly in the dark. An Annular eclipse produces the classic ‘ring of fire’ effect around the Sun we see in so many eclipse photos. For you, in your house of insight, intuition, secrets and hidden truths, this is about that ‘gut’ feeling. Suddenly something has a ‘ring of truth’ to it. It confirms what you have been feeling or picking up. Hold that thought. Even if you are not 100% certain of it yet. The confusion is clearing. You’ll soon receive confirmation you were right. All along.

Ruler Neptune has left your sign for good. It will not return this lifetime. It is now settled into Aries and your 2^nd house and is joined by Saturn on the 14^th. Saturn takes approximately 28 years to

complete its orbit. So, your money and values are having their Saturn return. For many of you, this will be the first time Saturn has moved through this sector of your charts as adults who are in charge of your financial destiny. For all of us, this is the first time this lifetime both Saturn and Neptune have been together in here at the same time. Their meeting on Feb 20 is pivotal. It takes place at 0o of Aries – the first degree of the 360^o wheel of the zodiac. The most potent point of creation, entry and inception.

There is not one of us on the planet who will remain unaffected by this on some level. For you, this is about your personal worth – or rather self-worth. When you take yourself more seriously and commit to a ‘gold standard’ set of rules where you value yourself consistently.

Neptune allows you to redefine these based on soul worth. Not simply material worth. To release illusions around just how much is ‘enough’. No more buying into what no longer adds real, lasting value to your life. Saturn rules the tradition and the lasting. You may ditch the fast fashion, instant gratification consumerist mindset and replace this with a less is more, quality not quantity one. You’re prepared to save or wait to have that lasting, quality item rather than spend on a disposable one. You opt for style which is timeless rather than fashion which is fleeting. Antiques or upcycled rather than flat packs or mass produced items. Vinted or charity shop finds than cheap brands.

Neptune can inspire you with creative ways to increase your income. Saturn grounds those plans in reality. Dreams not only become something you invest in, but sustainable. You may do more with what you already have by discovering creative ways to budget for instance. That could even turn into a money spinning idea in itself depending on how you leverage it.

Your source of income may change. You establish one that no longer requires you to sell your soul in order to keep your body together. You redefine what ‘rich’ or ‘abundance’ looks like. As well as being able to look at what you already have with a fresh sense of gratitude and satisfaction. This includes your relationships. Despite what many astrologers would have you believe, Saturn in your 2^nd can deliver that solid gold partnership. One that lasts. Neptune one that also shares the same spiritual values. But if anyone has been taking advantage of you, or is simply out for themselves, then you’ll see that hidden agenda very clearly now.

Your birthday cycle which begins the day after the eclipse is the first one you’ve experienced since 2011 free of Neptune. And now Saturn. That’s why everything looks and feels lighter, brighter and clearer. This is however a slow or even a false start. You should ease into it and not rush. Take time with any personal decisions if you can.

Mercury retrograde in your sign, plus the other planets in here – Sun and Venus, will meet the North Node. Closing off one long term cycle and beginning a new one. The North Node leaves you later this year. Mercury will meet it not once but three times during its retrograde. The first is on the 12^th when it begins its preshadow phase. Yes, you are in a process of new beginnings. But first comes the integration. As well as you adjusting to what you now see. Then comes the renewal. Also that clarity to continue to come into focus. Avoid judging yourself or engaging in harsh self-talk. Be patient. Practice self-forgiveness and acceptance. Allow yourself your mistakes and thank them for what they taught you. Seeing clearly and valuing yourself are one and the same thing for you. And allow yourself to begin again.

In a nutshell: Happy birthday, Pisces. This year may look and feel very different to previous cycles. Clearer, brighter, more luminous. You feel more focussed and aligned. The reason? Saturn exits your sign and entangles with Neptune in Aries. This is self-worth – redefined.
