Set reports and early plot leaks point to a Season 6 opener that starts with a body outside the Arconia. Rival podcaster Cinda Canning is said to be murdered, with the trail from her last episode about “The Girl with the Curls” sending Mabel, Charles, and Oliver across the Atlantic after a red-haired woman accused of killing a royal descendant. Hulu hasn’t confirmed the plot.
Filming ran from May through late August 2026. On Aug 24, Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short shot a scene in Covent Garden built around a red telephone box, with Short’s Oliver opening a brown paper bag for the others to inspect. Gomez wore a navy pinstriped ensemble under a green coat with knee-high boots.
The 10-episode run drops the New York regulars into a British murder mystery, with a cast that includes Olivia Colman, Jennifer Saunders, Simone Ashley, Sharon Horgan, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan, Jodie Whittaker, Martin Freeman, Richard Ayoade, and Jim Broadbent.
No release date has been set, though the season is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
