A young Florida woman who allegedly had too much to drink last week has made headlines for her bizarre actions before getting arrested.
As The New York Post reported, 24-year-old Elizabeth Boucher was captured on tape slamming her $50,000 Ford Bronco into a parked sedan in Daytona Beach. The incident occurred back on August 30.
The force of the crash was so intense that it sent shards of glass into the air while Boucher’s car pushed the smaller vehicle across the front lawn.
Despite this, Boucher kept her foot on the gas. Her car sent dirt flying as the rear tires spun.

The owner of the crashed vehicle, who was not inside the car at the time, was informed by a neighbor about what had happened. But when she went to check, she came face-to-face with Boucher.
Boucher proceeded to punch the woman in the face before she retaliated. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, the retaliatory punch caused Boucher to fall to the ground.
“She came at me, and she was right in my face. She smacked me right here,” the victim explained.
When the Daytona Beach police arrived on the scene, they immediately noticed that Boucher appeared drunk. She told them that she “did not know what really happened” before the police told her the truth.
She also had difficulty standing up and handed her passport to the police instead of her driver’s license. When Boucher was asked for her license again, she handed over her purse and said she was “hot” as she tried to get into the police car.
Boucher is next seen begging the police not to take her to jail. The police ignore her and proceed to read Boucher her Fifth Amendment rights.
The police then ask her to submit to a sobriety test. She refuses and tries to walk away before being stopped.
The police place Boucher in handcuffs as she whimpers, “Why are you doing this?” She is again asked to submit to a sobriety test, but again refuses.
Boucher then starts crying and says, “I thought we were all friends” as the police place her into the back of the squad car.
Boucher went to claim she was a mother and needed to get her child something before the crash.
“I’m not resisting arrest; I just want to make sure my daughter gets what she needs,” she says.
The Post reports that Boucher was charged with the following offenses: resisting arrest without violence, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, touch or strike, refusal to submit to DUI testing, DUI, and DUI damage of property. She was booked and released from jail on Aug. 31.
Boucher is scheduled to appear back in court on Oct. 21.
