The World’s Number One Remote Viewer Visits Japan!

Joe & Nancy McMoneagle have come to Japan for the first time in 17 years.

This is big news!

But do readers even know who Joe McMoneagle is? Twenty years ago, Joe appeared on Japanese TV 14 times, demonstrating psychic abilities and locating missing persons, instantly becoming a household name. A translated book titled ‘THE STARGATE CHRONICLES’ was also published.

Truth be told, Joe was the US Army’s first psychic spy.

But you might wonder, “What exactly is a psychic spy?” Fifty years ago, the world was in the midst of the “Cold War” between the Soviet Union (USSR) and the United States.

During this Cold War, the U.S. intelligence agency, the CIA, learned that the Soviet Union had a psychic spy organization. They needed to know if this organization posed a threat. So, the U.S. decided to create its own psychic spy organization. The first person selected for this job was Joe, the remote viewer “001”.

Why was Joe chosen as the first spy? There were two reasons.

One was his track record in the Vietnam War. At the time, Joe was an Army intelligence officer. He was deployed to the Vietnam War three times, conducting dangerous intelligence operations in areas occupied by the North Vietnamese Army. Though in his early twenties then, he utilized his precognitive abilities. He excelled at leaving positions just before North Vietnamese artillery shells struck. His subordinates never strayed from his side to avoid being killed in action. Seeing this track record, the head of Army Intelligence took notice, remarking, “This guy seems to have special abilities.”

The other reason was that physicists at the Stanford Research Institute were conducting research on “psychic abilities” at the time. Joe underwent testing there, and it was proven he possessed advanced psychic abilities.

The U.S. “remote viewing” unit was established within Army Intelligence, and it proved to be a tremendous success. Joe and his five teammates demonstrated exceptional remote viewing abilities. Joe successfully completed 200 missions, earning him the Legion of Merit, the U.S. Army’s highest civilian award, for his achievements. Incidentally, Joe’s remote viewing accuracy was determined to be 80% based on over 38 years of objective evaluation by scientists.

The U.S. Army’s psychic organization, ultimately called “Stargate,” operated for 23 years from 1972 to 1995. Once a year, Joe traveled to Washington, D.C., to brief congressional officials on the capabilities of “remote viewing.” To secure its annual budget, “Stargate” had to prove its worth. Over 23 years, ‘Stargate’ spent $20 million (3 billion yen) in contemporary currency. If “Stargate” had no practical value, the government would never have invested money for 23 years.

Psychic Abilities Are Like Athletic Ability

Let’s explain psychic abilities here. In truth, psychic abilities are capabilities inherent to every human being. They are like athletic ability. Anyone can play sports, but skill levels vary greatly. In tennis, Joe McMoneagle is like Federer or Alcaraz. In soccer, he’s like Messi. Watching Messi play, he seems to possess foresight, effortlessly dribbling past defenders.

Yes, Messi is the world’s top soccer player because he utilizes his psychic abilities. In other words, many successful people in the world utilize their psychic abilities, even if they aren’t aware of it themselves.

Another similarity between sports and psychic abilities is how childhood environments influence these abilities. According to Extraordinary Knowing by Elizabeth Lloyd Mayer, Ph.D., most people with special psychic abilities were in environments during childhood that tested their survival skills. Joe McMoneagle grew up in a poor neighborhood and had to protect his sisters from gangs. He learned martial arts like judo, but also developed the ability to sense danger to protect them.

The environment during childhood is also crucial for top athletes. Brazil’s dominance in soccer is often attributed to the intense survival competition within the sport. Psychic abilities are survival skills.

Are psychics a nuisance?

“Stargate” was a high-value project, yet it was inexplicably terminated in 1995. I asked Joe McMoneagle why.

“Do you know Robert Gates, the CIA Director during the Cold War? The U.S. intelligence network spent four years investigating what was being built in a secret Soviet factory. Gates was the senior analyst for Russia at the time. We showed him in four hours, complete with drawings, that a massive double-hulled submarine was being built in the factory. After that, we embarrassed him four more times on other assignments. That might be why he developed an aversion to Stargate and shut it down.”

But I believe there’s another reason. Psychic spy organizations are a double-edged sword.

In the Iraq War, the U.S. used Iraq’s possession of weapons of mass destruction as a pretext for war. But Joe repeatedly reported, “There are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. However, there is a massive weapons cache underground outside the city of Basra.” Joe’s clairvoyance was correct, but for those in power, it meant their lies were being exposed. In other words, for those in power, psychics who can see through lies are also a nuisance.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, Joe visited Russia twice. Russia’s psychic spy organization, “Department 10003,” was a massive unit of 104 members, far larger than anything in the United States. The top psychic in this organization was a woman, a former tank battalion commander who had distinguished herself in the Chechen War and received numerous medals. She was an astonishing psychic.

Joe and she conducted numerous experiments together, and the idea for a joint research project was born. It was a project where psychics from the US and Russia would work together for the International Criminal Court (ICC). The goal was to detect and stop global terrorism before it happened. The then-Russian President Yeltsin immediately agreed it was a good idea and signed the proposal. However, when Joe returned to the US and handed the proposal to the responsible official, it was thrown into the trash without even being looked at. Even after the Cold War ended, the U.S. still viewed Russia as an enemy.

“The Origins of Humanity and the Mysteries of Mars”

Joe McMoneagle’s interest in “The Origins of Humanity and the Mysteries of Mars” began with a remote viewing experiment conducted in May 1984. The location was the Monroe Institute, deep in the mountains of Virginia.

Remote viewing is conducted with information blocked in two or three layers. Not only the remote viewer, but also the interviewer who elicits information and everyone present has absolutely no idea what is being viewed. On this day too, an envelope containing the viewing target was handed to Director Bob Monroe, but its contents were unknown to anyone. Requests for remote viewing come from the CIA, the Department of Defense, or university research institutions. That much is anticipated. The following is an excerpt from Joe’s book ‘MindTrek’.

Monroe: Now, please conduct the remote viewing based on the information in the envelope.

Joe: There’s a pyramid. It’s huge. But the sun looks strange. It appears small. It seems there’s been some new archaeological discovery here. There also seems to have been a major crustal shift.

Monroe: Please relay anything else you’re sensing.

Joe: I see something like human shadows. They’re extremely tall. But they’re only shadows. They’re not here now.

Monroe: Go back to the time when they were alive.

Joe: (Long silence) They were tall, very thin, and wearing strange clothes. They seem to have lost the ability to move.

Monroe: Ask who they are.

Joe: They are dying out. They are searching for a way to survive. They are waiting for their companions to return. Their companions went on a long journey to find a place to live.

Monroe: How did they leave?

Joe: It was like a large ship, with curved walls made of shiny metal.

Monroe: Return to where you hear my voice.

Joe: I seem to have gone to a time very far removed.

The remote viewing session ended here, but after this session, Bob Monroe asked Joe several questions.

Monroe: Have you ever had an experience like this?

Joe: I seem to have touched something like the so-called Akashic Records (the cosmic library).

Monroe: Are they human?

Joe: Their form and shape are very human-like, but incredibly large.

Monroe: By great catastrophe, do you mean they detonated atomic bombs or something?

Joe: No, it wasn’t something they caused. It was a cosmic event.

When the questions ended, Bob Monroe took an envelope from his pocket. This was the moment the remote viewing target would be revealed. The paper showed seven “latitude/longitude” coordinates and read “Mars one million years ago.”

Joe was made to see Mars a million years ago. He saw a human-like shadow there and traced it back to the era when that shadow lived, though he wasn’t asked how ancient that era was.

What becomes clear in this remote viewing is that it transcends both time and space. Time exists as past, future, and present all together. Space leaps across the universe. It’s entirely the world of quantum mechanics.

Joe felt dissatisfied with this viewing experiment. Despite expending his soul to see, he couldn’t objectively evaluate the results. In standard remote viewing sessions, scientists compare the target with the viewer’s results to objectively assess accuracy. But with the Mars viewing, that wasn’t possible.

So Joe visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California. NASA-managed JPL is conducting “Mars mapping.” When Joe requested photos of the seven target locations on Mars at the JPL front desk, the staff member responded, “Ah, the ancient cities on Mars, right?” and promptly handed him the photos.

Joe possesses 179 mysterious photos of Mars and plans to publish them as a book once he reaches 200. This article features a selection of those images.

Earthlings are extraterrestrials

An interview with Joe McMoneagle, visiting Japan in September 2025, is summarized below.

・ In my opinion, Earthlings are extraterrestrials who came from Mars. They either adapted to Earth’s gravitational environment or underwent genetic modification, becoming the smaller-bodied humans we are today.

・ Another alien race coexists on Earth, having transported Martians here from their dying planet. Their civilization is far more advanced than Earth’s.

・ UFOs are the vehicles of highly advanced extraterrestrials. They can dive from 30,000 meters into the ocean surface in under a second, without creating a single splash. There is also footage of UFOs traveling underwater at speeds of 600 kilometers per hour.

・ Highly civilized extraterrestrials have caused Earthlings to “regress” multiple times. Probably five times.

・ Earthlings are like children playing with matches. Two hundred years ago, Americans traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast in covered wagons. Yet, in less than a hundred years, they amassed a large stockpile of atomic bombs.

・ UFO sightings have been recorded since ancient times, but they began appearing en masse after nuclear testing in Nevada. Advanced extraterrestrials had concealed themselves, but their vigilance toward humanity playing with dangerous atomic bombs has heightened, leading to increased surveillance.

・ Catastrophic natural disasters are precursors to extraterrestrials attempting to “regress” Earthlings. That is, they cause events like great floods to demand a restart of human civilization.

・ Modern humans have lived on Earth since the age of dinosaurs. We have inhabited this planet for 28 million years.

・ Nine years ago, I visited the world’s oldest natural history museum in Europe. As a full member of the Parapsychological Society, I tour natural history museums worldwide annually. I asked the scientist guiding me at the Vienna museum, “There must be artifacts you haven’t displayed yet. Please show them to me.” The scientist replied, “If it’s just you, I’ll show it to you after everyone else has left.”

・ What the scientist showed me was the forelimbs of a giant dinosaur that went extinct 28 million years ago. A spearhead was embedded in the fossilized bone, and there were also marks that appeared to be human bite marks.

・ There is abundant evidence that modern humans coexisted with hominids as far back as 30 million years ago. I strongly recommend reading Forbidden Archaeology (by Michael A. Cremo, Ph.D., and Richard L. Thompson, Ph.D.).

Two Theories of Evolution

After Joe’s interview ended, I immediately decided to read Forbidden Archaeology. This book is a massive 900-page tome, but fortunately, a 300-page abridged version titled The Hidden History of Mankind is also published.

According to The Hidden History of Mankind, over the past 200 years, scientists have confirmed the existence of modern humans during the age of the dinosaurs. However, Darwin’s theory of evolution has become the mainstream in modern times, making it impossible to publish artifacts that contradict evolutionary theory.

In fact, there are two types of evolutionary theory.

On July 1, 1858, the “theory of evolution” was jointly published by Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace, known as the father of biogeography. Darwin and Wallace’s “theories of evolution” were nearly identical, with one key difference. Darwin believed humans evolved from apes and expected the missing link—the ape-to-human transitional form—to be discovered eventually.

Wallace, however, believed that the advanced human mind—its morality, art, and mathematics—could not be explained by natural selection alone. He posited the involvement of some transcendent force. Thus, Wallace argued, “If evidence of modern humans surviving in ancient strata is found, it should be carefully recorded and studied.”

According to The Hidden History of Humanity, interest in Wallace’s theory is growing among experts. However, it seems it will be quite some time before this reaches us common folk.

Joe and Nancy’s stay in Japan lasted ten days, but we had many interesting experiences together. Joe was especially fond of large turtles, like the one in the photo. Joe could read the turtle’s mind. And our thoughts were also being read by Joe. Joe’s eyes would sometimes sparkle. At those moments, it seemed he was unconsciously reading the minds of those around him.
